This game makes me so, so uncomfortable playing it and therefore does its jobs perfectly. Very simple gameplay, yet addictive. The constant time pressure to handle enough (non-citizens), not making errors, keeping a balance between various interests, minding the details etc. Just pretty nice.

First of all I seriously thought this game wouldn't be a whole lot of fun. One can read a lot of shade that reviewers and people throw on it because it is not a real Mafia game and they might be right about it. Thing is, I never played the original game or Part 2, therefore I can't really compare to those and look at this as a "single" game. The story is okay, a good start, long middle section, intense ending. What I liked is that the protagonist, Lincon Clay, isn't f** around and keeps his priorities straight up to the end (so therefore no long talks with the supposidly evil people etc.). Endings are different, all are okay, non is really the best or the worst. Another thing that stood out for me were the facial animations for the cutscenes which are some of the best I have seen in a long while, whereas the graphics itsself are varing from "good" to "what year is it". Sometimes a lot of details on the textures is missing and makes the game look like 2010, not 2016. On the other hand vegitation, cars and the lights look good and give the game a nice overall look. Performance was good most of the time, but in downtown when going with 100+ mph/kmh frames started to drop. Nothing to serious, but it was definitly noticable (from around 60 to 40 and therefore out of FreeSync range for my monitor). Would have been nice if not, but okay. Gameplay is solid, but nothing outstanding. The choice of weapons is good, handling is made nicely. The stealth mechanics is okay and can give some good aspect. Most of the gadget you get are a bit useless in my eyes, I mostly used the throwing knives (very stealthy) and granades and ignored most of the rest. One big pile of gargabe is the AI. It isn't any good, you can pull such easy tricks on them and they won't notice that you just killed a guy literally right behind them with a headshot. So don't expect super sneaky moves. All in all a good game, with definit flawes, maybe just not for the fans. I would recommed buying in a sale.

To make things short and simple: For me personally this is one of the best RPGs if not games I have ever had the pleassure to play for a very fair price (thanks GoG and CD Project) As somebody who doesn´t like to spend so much times in dialogs and talking the game really caught me by surprise that I enjoyed each single line of dialog all throghg the whole game. They are very well written, voices are very good in nearly every case and the mimic and gestures suit perfectly into the situation. On the graphic side there isn´t really much to mutter or complain, the game runs smoothly, looks really decent and is, compared to what it offers, relativly ressource saving, especially when you look at VRAM. However, there is still a rather decent PC needed, don´t get carried away too much please. Gameplay-wise there isn´t really a negative thing in my eyes, fighting is easy to learn and hard to master, running, jumping, witcher sense work perfectly fine in 99% of the times, I have hardly ever encountered any bugs. As long as I didn´t use Roach, the horse. Oh my god here the fun truly begins with glitches or bugs and so on, but luckily they can be solved quite easily with reloading the last save point. Crafting, alchemie and skills let the player customize Geralt quite a bit,. However it is still mostly based on drinkin postion, using the right oils, have a good feeling for timing and, most importan, sword action. Yes, there is a crossbow, but this is more an nice addition and sometimes usefull, but a Witcher slays monsters and doesn´t snipe them all over the giant map. All in all I never regreted buying the game + season pass, I meanI even got the GORY-edition free. Simply one of the best deals ever made. Cloudsave, realtivly new, is a very nice featured provided by GoG, just if you are curious wether you can save your game files in the cloud.

To be honest, my most liked part of the game is the sandbox mode where a good buddy (he is the much more experienced player) and I do compete in self-made challanges like "highest top-speed at the end of the runway" or fastet rocket. The graphics are quite fine for the game. Of course, it is far away from beeing beautiful, but it runs on almost any PC and therefore it is fine, as the look is not what the game was made for Building at staging spacships is, after some time, very easy to do and even for total newcomers quite easy to handle. Happily the menues got better in the last patches, before that it was a bit difficult in my eyes. Steering and controlling a space vehicle is kind of easy, but I would love to see multi-selection of the same parts, for example the landing wheels on a "space plane", as it is some kind of difficult to click them all by there own (yes i know that parts that where placed with using the duplication mode in the hanger do it all at once). There are still some kind of glitches in the game, but as far as I could figure it out, they are quite entertaining and far away from beeing a "gamebreaker". For me it is simply a great way to build the rockets or planes I ever wanted to create and of course to see if they would actually have worked as I planned them.
