As someone who’s played Elder Scrolls since Morrowind, I’m always searching for RPGs that capture that same sense of freedom and adventure. Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is the first game in years to truly deliver a “Scrollslike” experience while still feeling fresh and unique. The open world is massive and atmospheric, filled with secrets, quests, and meaningful choices. The Arthurian-inspired setting is dark and intriguing, and the world feels reactive to your actions. What really stands out is the open class system—you’re never locked into a single playstyle. Whether you want to be a sword-and-board tank, dual dagger rogue, magic shield user, or some hybrid, the game makes it easy to experiment and refine your build as you go. Difficulty is fully customizable. You can make the game as easy as you want, turning it into a walking simulator, or crank up the challenge to a level that would make Dark Souls blush. This flexibility means anyone can enjoy the game, regardless of skill level. Tainted Grail isn’t just a clone—it introduces new mechanics like the Wyrdness, which changes the world at night, and deepens the experience with crafting, mining, and even household management. The story is mature and woven into every part of the world, making every choice feel important. All in all, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is one of the best RPGs I’ve played in years. It’s packed with fresh ideas, yet clearly made by a team that loves and understands the genre. If you’re a fan of Elder Scrolls and want a new adventure, this game absolutely delivers.

Relaxed but with decent difficulty, its not to horrible and death isn’t all that bad of a thing on exploration mode. Its very fun and easy to navigate. If you ever played Metroid then this will feel right at home. The story is intriguing and make you want to keep playing, the fight triggers feel good and the world changes depending on what you’ve done. Enemies change depending on what you’ve accomplished so it always feels fresh. And it has souls-like qualities where you can make shortcuts all over the place. Plenty of hidden rooms as well!

40k Space Marine still holds up today, its unfogiving and crutal 3rd person FPS. The story is mianly told via cutseens and audio logs will fill in every blank and all your questions. It's a game you just cant stop playing. Its challenging and rewardgin with a steady increase in defficulty and only a few spikes along the way. As a note, if you crash on Windows 11 (at a very specific point with a white flash) set the game to Windows 7 compatability mode and you'll stop crashing.

As of May 1st, 2020 The game installs and plays fine, its the same as the base game from Steam, It even has the same Steam DRM, but they used some coding magic to make the DLC unlock with Galaxy. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is what you are buying here. the "Digital Deluxe Edition" is behind DRM that requires an installed and authenticated GOG Galaxy client to unlock the DLC. You don't need to be online just have an authenticated Galaxy account running on your machine. The card says nothing about this at all so be warned. That said at this price its a steal and hopefully down the road they will fix this issue. A proper fix exists at the moment and GOG just needs to go get it. So should you buy it? YES! It's a fantastic game its more fleshed out then Human Revolution and it follows the story over really well. Do you need the DLC to get the full game? Absolutely not! 2 are stand-alone stories with no tie into the main game... The one that fleshes out only 1 character in the game is Criminal Past and while not required at all it is just more content, also the best of the 3. Each DLC is about 3-5 hours except Criminal Past which is about 10ish hours based on casual playing. So again if you liked Human Revolution they yes buy this game and hope GOG fixes the DLC down the line for sweet DRM free gaming goodness. If not you truly are not missing anything by not having the DLC. And on the plus side its only $2 more so take the chance GOG can get the proper fix that exists right now and come back with a no GOG Galaxy required unlock! No matter what you'll love this game, its a unforgettable gaming experience!
Game Length compared to the other AC's is short but will still take you a few weeks as a casual player. Its the most beautiful and fun of the Creeds. The story is full of mystery and sets up the other titles well. And the ending boss fight completely delivers, which is sadly lacking in today's games. The balance is perfect, just enough difficulty to keep your frustration level below your enjoyment level. Since the game length was not as long as the others i felt this was the perfect blend of running around, doing basic quests and exploring the game world. In AC2 its more of a marathon and gets boring very quickly when the story just cant keep up with the monotonous demands of the game. Played casually AC2 is quite fun but not as rewarding is AC1 was with story movement. AC1 started it all, its got mystery, it doesn't take itself to seriously, and the gameplay is amazing. There is enough fun mixed with lull points to keep you going, and it has the perfect length. The ending satisfies as well. If you can make it though painkiller then this will be a cakewalk :)

Blood 2 at release was a fun fast paced shooter which mixed in elements of magic and slight role playing in the form of 4 playable characters called “The Choosen” which are Ophelia Price (stealth and sniping) Gabriel/Gabriella (Heavy weps and Armor and a shemale) Ishmael (Magic using orb and voodoo user ) Caleb ( The leader and most powerful of the group, he could make Duke Nukem cry) Along with killer class choices there are weapons we have still yet to see used in any other game. There are special ritual knifes which are customized per the chosen wielding them and change as there used making them a viable option in combat. The affectionately named “old favorites” have returned as the Napalm launcher and Flare gun. Each with alt fire modes and can be dual wielded not to mention the sexy and always welcomed Tesla cannon, which has some very fun and insane fire modes that I’ll let you figure out. Next is your basic 9mm and Mac10 machine gun both can be fired akimbo style in each hand if your STR is high enough as your chosen.. err chosen! Then we have the classic Sawed off Shotgun which you can dual wield. The Sniper rifle that uses location damage EG hit the head or body for near instakill. The m16 assault rifle with grenade launcher also akimbo'd. A Howitzer cannon and a freaking minigun (Gabriella's favorite) lastly in the regular wep line up is a Death Ray that can bounce around walls, a flamethrower/poison sprayer (seriously this one is kinda fun) and a SINGULARITY GENERATOR, which makes a black hole and sucks in enemy’s and is so beautiful to see in action. Now comes the most fun you'll ever have: The Voodoo Doll, you literally stab it and what ever enemy your pointing it will react per location of the stab, the alternative fire is a voodoo hex which attempts to kill or seriously injure all enemy’s on screen. Then the best idea I have ver seen implemented in a game: The Orb! ever see Phantasm? Remember that little silver ball with a drill bit in it? Yes this is The Orb you launch it at an enemy and it drills into there brain, its a fire and forget weapon that seeks and drills, the enemy can be heard screaming in pain as it bores into there mind. Alt fire gives you control and you can guide the ball or scout the area. Lastly there is the Life Leech, this fires massive balls of death which melts faces off and heals you. The alt fire makes a massive shockwave hurling back mobs and can make some amazing effects near certain objects in the game :) The last weapons is more of a tool, its the all-seeing eye, you toss it or drop it and you can use it to see remotely anyplace you want. And its indestructible, well you cant lose it but it can be destroyed. Blood 2: The choose and The Nightmare Levels are classic Monolith games. That being said you can expect a level of humor and articulation in level design that’s been lost to modern era games. A corridor may just be that and nothing more or it may lead you to a bone leech ready to eat your FACE! Monolith spent a lot of time working out the basic level design and structure to create a fun and appealing exsperiance. They placed spawn points pretty well in most levels, and the mobs do a good job navigating the area. There are a few wall glitches here and there, but you'll see that in any game. Along with design of levels Monolith did a great job on the story, as you progress though the game “as Caleb” your treated to cut scenes and an evolving storyline which does a good job tying in all the locations. It moves sort of like No One Lives Forever but with a lot less humor and such drastic changes in location. All in all Blood 2: The Chosen is one of my all time top games I love to pick up and play when ever I have some time to kill. The multiplayer is pretty fun to if you can get a few nostalgic friends to get in on it with ya. Well worth the price and a must have for any Lithtech or Blood fan. “Geropayati Cruento Paashaeximus!”
