I bought this game a while back but heard about the bugs and put it aside. Now, in 2022, after watching the Netflix anime Edgerunners, I decided to give it a go. I'm absolutely sold on both the world and the game! Most of the bugs have been ironed out (1.6 patch) and the ones that are there are more funny than disturbing. On more occasions than I can count I caught myself just wandering in the game, going up side steets and back alleys, only to find something strange, new or just plain interesting. Love it. So much so that I bought it on steam too. I think that says enough for anyone considering buyin it. PS: 1 - Do yourself a favour and put the main quests on hold and just run around doing stuff, there is a LOT more to this game than that railed main missions! 2 - The steam is there just to mess with the mods and keeping the GoG install on 'vanilla". I'm happy to report that cross-platform saves are here and working fine so I alternate between playing it on GOG and steam!
This game.. I first installed out of quriosity. And the stayed for the GAME. Good mechanics, interesting lore, some twists and turns, and... there is the soundtrack. The composer basically lit both a church organ and a synth on fire at the same time and started playing on them. :-) 10/10 The cogitators rejoice!
