I really loved this game. Some moments are absolutely memorable, mechanics are fun and enrich the narrative, some characters are great, the story is solid, and puzzles are good. And still there is room for improvement. At the beginning I had some reserves around the protagonist, but then the story picks up. Some companion characters are unique (logan and kaykay absolutely the best), while others are a bit more bland, still each one of them has its own mechanic and sketched personality and the interactions are just always very good. Im now officially a fan of widgeteye's games. There must be something in the surname Gilbert. I am just a little bit fed up with the always minimalistic UI. but it is hardly the game's fault, since for some reason this is still the go-to marketing decision of every modern point and click adventure
A very good game, with some very interesting sci-fi ideas, a cool setting, and some intriguing mechanics that have potential. The detective story is good, if short. It begins solid and despite a third act that feels a bit rushed, it stands on its own legs til the end beacause of the overall setting and tone. Some characters are a bit generic, but the protagonist is relatable. The puzzles are on the easy side but not obvious and not boring. Graphics are nice as is the music. I really would love to see more of this. Absolutely worth the buy.
