Realms of Arkania 3

The Adventure Ends Here!

Realms of Arkania 2 was by far, one of my favorite RPG games - EVER. It became the center of what my own D&D games would have a feel for. Realms of Arkania 3 is great - but my only REAL complaint is that it primarily takes place in a city environment and takes away some of the landscape traveling seen in the previous games. The game is tough - and requires a lot of time, patience - and in some cases, when you head into the dungeons - some map making skills (graph paper will be your best friend). Lots of characters to interact with - at times, you will need to write down names and clues, because it's an older game, it doesn't give you "way points" on where to go next. Definitely a fun - but difficult - game! Prepare for weapons to break, losing shoes in the mud or mountains, and launching unusually sounding spells and being ambushed while your party sleeps!

Space Quest 1+2+3

Almost 5 Stars... If...

... I would have given 5 stars if this package included the EGA version of Space Quest 1. I am not certain why it is missing as the other games (such as King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry - and I think Police Quest?) include the EGA versions of the first game, not just the remakes. Would be great to get the EGA version added! But honestly, that said - this bundle includes Space Quest III which is my favorite of the Space Quest series! If you've not played any Space Quest games... well, brace yourself for some humorous saves! Save early, save often, and make multiple saves!

Space Quest 4+5+6

For Space Quest IV alone...

... this bundle is an incredible package. Space Quest IV is one of the funnest - and funniest - games of the Space Quest series and takes the HUGE leap to SVGA graphics for the Space Quest series. Space Quest V should appeal to those who enjoy Star Trek parody humor. And Space Quest VI was different than all the rest in just about every regard (other than it's Roger Wilco) - and while different - the Narrator makes the game a blast. So grab that mop, space janitor, Roger Wilco. There's a universe that needs cleaning up! And you're the person to do it!

STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II

The Sith Are DOOMed.

It's literally DOOM with a Star Wars skin and more story. So what's not to love? If you love Star Wars, check. Did you love DOOM? Check! Did you wish DOOM had more story? Check! Honestly, this is a fun shooter game; that mixes in some story to give you that Star Wars feel through and though. Very enjoyable game.

STAR WARS™: Knights of the Old Republic

Use The Force.

Bioware knows one thing very well - how to make excellent adventure games with choices and consequences and NPCs who join you and feel like they're just as much the main character as you are! So much flesh and live is given to the characters and the story - and the fact that this is all a part of the Star Wars lore only adds to how wonderful this game is!

STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords™

The Force is Strong With This One.

An excellent Star Wars Adventure that picks up from the first one. Looks of great NPCs that you recruit and make a part of your party! Originally plagued with bugs, the game was patched and came through, shining brightly out of hyper drive.

The 11th Hour

The Time Keeps Ticking.

11th Hour, much like 7th Guest, truly requires some patience, and is often times, best played with friends - because some of the puzzles can truly be difficult to understand (although these days with walk thrus and google, maybe not like how it used to be). It's an enjoyable game, like I said, with more people sitting around the computer, trying to figure out how some of the puzzles and riddles are answered. The story is very loose as it does primarily center around the puzzles & riddles. It's like Myst meets the most difficult adventure game ever!

The Bard's Tale Trilogy

Strum of the guitar.

Welcome to Bard's Tale. I think anyone who was into CRPGs played Bard's Tale. And if they didn't - a piece of their childhood is missing - but! Fear not, good traveler! GoG has made it so you can twist the veil back and step through the time capsule and enjoy these incredibly fun classic games! I remember spending hours on that first character creation screen with the bard strumming by the fireplace, waiting for me to decide who is going to be in my party. Highly recommend this game if you enjoy the classics. This one is definitely one!
