I will be reviewing this game as if it only had one episode - since I felt satisfied after defeating the boss and believed that the game is over. The game is not boomer shooter - more like boomer rpg with heavy reliance on stealth. The bullets are quite rare so you will be mostly fighting meele - and I found hit and run or more precise pick up and die tactic works quite well and by utilising it you can finish chapter 1 in half an hour (it took me 4 hours since I like exploring). Now the cons: - controller support is very lacking. I wouldn't play it on steam deck for that reason. - the progression items are quite hard to find. I had to google the one from fort xD - chapter 2 feels out of the blue. Like you are watching the ending cinematic and then abrabtly BAM, we need you again. I ain't doing that, old man...

Game runs terrible. it has strange 62fps cap with constant shtutter an 1% lows at 2-12fps. The cutscenes are even worse - they are prerendered at what seems like 480p and run at 27fps (again very strange number). Also awful aliasing - even at 4k with max settings everything still looks awfully aliased. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't with my rig - the Awakaned run at about 144fps on 1800p upscaled to 2160p and I got relatavily top specs (i11700k+32gb3600MhzCL16Ram+rx6950xt). Dropped after 2hr since even though I liked the awakened for its cinematic horrors, I will probably stick with devs better works going forward. Honestly, I'm afraid of trying the Crimes and Punishments next, since it is an even earlier work of those devs. I pray that the story will keep me going there. my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

Prettty fun game. I mean it's mostly just allright gameplaywise, but the visuals are top notch and I've never seeen anything like that before. A certain must buy, especially wiitth the discouunt my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

Even after reading the comments praising the game, I was still surpised by the high quality execution (after all 2bit art style didn't gave me much assurance). BUT it was GREAT! I almost gave it 5 stars - my only complain is that it wasted part of its pottential - it had a great setup for a good bad ending but in the end it has given us a bad good end with some clieche motives... my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

The game itself is very good. Main dialogues are all voiced and it also have lot's of the optional unvoiced lines. RP aspects of the RPG is implemented very good and combat is very enjoyable. The art style itself is very pretty too - I would say it's on the AAA level. Now about the bad - optimization. There's a constant shatter, I'm playing on 4k and getting 90-144fps on both lowest and highest preset with 1% low at about the same level - but no matter what I do, the 1% lows are falling to 10fps every now and then and I can see the game stop at those times. I tried everything - switching to dx11, vkdx11 (the shtatter is gone, but vulkans sutter is evcen worse), etc. From looking it up, it seems lots of people were having the same issue on release... Overall I got tired of feeling nausaeted while playing and decided to abandone it at 18hr mark (about 60% of the game) my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

Had lots of fun with this short and lovely adventure. You should try it too! my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and/or had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

I absolutely loved it. It's funny, well made and awesomely cute. Perfect price too - I think that the art of this class worth whatever the artist asks for it - and this one I can afford xD For all those who value their games in "hours" - there's only one at most, but believe me it's totally well spent.

It's pretty much a mess. 1) In-game dev says it's out of EA so nothing will be fixed. 2) When you start the game, the character is outside the car and will sit on the back seat if you press E closer to it than to the front seat. and it won't move front from there - kinda what's the point in having character being able to seat there? 3) Someone mentioned that it is like a NES arcade racer - I think it's even worse. You have only one life and if you just touch the sidewalk - it's gameover, start from the beggining. 4) idea is fun, but after playing other game by that dev - the visual and music is no longer novel. 5) the menu is mostly broken - feels like some kinda student project. I guess that EA was for bug fixes since the game itself reminds me of what we were doing on CompSci's gamedev courses within a week (it was worth only 2 credits) - in other words I can't see what dev could've spent years on. Maybe more art and music? But the core gameplay is still in it's broken, infant state, Overall I can see the apeal. but I regret buying it my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!

"NeverSynth is a 3rd person game that is a RHYTHM driving simulator. " - that's a lie, gameplay and music isn't synced, and the "beats" you collect is simply currency. It's a simple runner like temple run or subway serfer- with one advantage and that is being add-free and without in-app shop. I kinda liked it, but 2-3 songs that it have gets annoying really quick. It has an option to select your own, but it couldn't find my mp3s... Also controller kinda works in the menu, but stops working at car/music selection and doesn't work in-game. It would be great if the controller worked, though it's not listed as supported on GoG (unlike steam) my scores: 1/5 - this "game" shouldn't exist 2/5 - I guess someone might like it, but I regret buying it. 3/5 - I had some fun with it and do not regret buying it. 4/5 - I had completed this game and had overall good time with it. 5/5 - It's a great game, one of the bestest of all time!
