Not the most in-depth combat, but it you enjoy DD strategy and want more JRPG like narrative then check it out.
The problem is it dosen't have alot of stuff, it's mainly a speedrunners game with the rating system and linearity. It's a fun Hack n Slash platformer with a cool artstyle, just not much too it.
