Finally after a few decennia we're able to freely walk around in Riven just as in Myst. The puzzles and the whole experience greatly improve these wonderful games. The graphics look as beatiful as ever. The puzzles are not easy but very doable (but I did consult a walkthrough some times like for the moiety number system). I did write this without my rosy glasses on I think the game will be great for any new adventurers too. A solid 5 from me.

This is nowhere near as good as Zork Grand Inquisitor however it has a great atmosphere. The graphics are of course dated. Since the game has a dark atmosphere sometimes it is a bit hard to navigate around the game. Nonetheless I like the game a lot. It is certainly not easy but when taking note of the texts in various places and a little help of a walkthrough, by times, very playable. The story is original and the game has a good length. As with any Zork game you can die so save often.

I enjoyed the game much while playing so at first didn't understand the low score. Sure the controls are not the best but not unlike other adventure games. It is not like it is an action game .... until it is (ok only two of those are there but still). So in some bout of insanity they decided to put some stuff in here that you need to do real fast. Of course adventure game makers don't have the resources to smooth out gameplay for that or test it on a lot of devices. For me on a 9350 16/32 AMD processor, RTX2080Ti Oc and 64GB of memory AND notably a UHD display, it clearly couldn't keep up. The UHD is important here because from the complaints and solutions it seems the controller speed is tied to the screen resolution making it impossible to do the action sequences with a controller and for the second one the mouse is a pain if not impossible. Now long story short there is a savegame supplied by Microids (great job Microids, a publisher that supports their games even after you bought them unlike a certain publisher of udontplay launchers). And thanks Kevin here on the boards for the suggestion. This is the link BTW https://support.syberia3.com/en/support/solutions/articles/23000006981-syberia-3-savegames The game itself I thought was actually pretty good. This is the last 'real' Syberia game. It has the Youkols, Oscar and of course Kate in it (the fourth Syberia is a great adventure and gorgeous to look at but less of an Syberia game). The game is now 3D and is pretty well done for an adventure. No surreal graphics this time around though. In the end I greatly enjoyed it and I highly recomend it but with the savegame from the Microids site.

Very nice graphics and scenery. Lot of animations. The puzzles vary between great and using the right object and, yes, sometiimes exhausting every combination but wait, only in the beginning of the game there are a bit too many combinations and it are only a few in the rest of the game and leaving out the really illogical ones you use find it in a few clicks. I didn't need a walkthrough for anything (unlike about every other adventure I played). The interface is easy to use with a bar with your few inventory items at the bottom that can be closed or left open. This is an excellent adventure and it can compare to the great ones back in the day (think 90's beginning 2000's)

A very nice platform game, haven't finished it yet but spend a few hours on it. Normally I don't like platform games. (Actually the only one I liked was Duke Nukem Manhattan project). Very original to make it like an old B-Movie and they really nailed the sounds, art and music and the narator is fun. Things I especially like: * That you can teleport to any location you've been to at any moment. * You can set the game to easy ( important for me since I suck at platform games ). Certainly worth the 3 bucks I paid.

It's clear that the creators enjoyed Fallout 1,2. This has the same feeling, the exploration, the creation and the discovery of this world. I played in 'story' mode am 35 hours in and I love it. The game is isometric and 3D so you can rotate around and the backgrounds are not just 2D images like in the old days. The graphics are great, the music awesome and overall I the game experience good. There is a flaw where you have to align yourself with an item to interact with it but ok nothing is perfect. You can save at any time by pressing the quicksave button and it will create a new quick save (excellent!). The only thing that was hard was how to use the controls on my XBox controller(PC). Note you can double click left or right terminal and move through the toolbar them with the L key. Press and hold Left (for left toolbar) or Right (for right) terminal again to see the active keys. The camera has 3 modes which you can select by clicking the 'R' button. Assign weapons by clicking 'X' on the weapon to select primary or secondary weapon.

This is, in my opionion, the best of the Syberia games and one of the best adventures I've ever played. * Environments are gorgeous * They didn't skimp on animations * Puzzles are logical (no, trying to combine x illogical items together). * Puzzles are mostly not difficult with some require a little bit more time which makes the gameplay very enjoyable. * Quality AND Quantity If you liked the first Syberia then almost certainly you are going to enjoy this one.

I thought considering the reviews this DLC was mediocre at best, but it is actually quite good. After playing a bit it is hard to stop. It is hard to believe that after more than 20 years the BG engine still holds up and this DLC gives very much the same feeling as playing the originals two decennia back. I rolled my own party but, that probably was a bit of a waste because most of the characters (like minsc) are available to join your party (which I preferred). It is basically good old adventuring like in the originals but there are some improvements (which I liked) like, when you want to move an object to anyone else's inventory, you see which characters can use it. You also directly see how much it improves certain properties like THAC0 (important is to realize that it uses the current weapon in use for the comparison). I am in the third chapter now and I can say I liked it a lot so far. They obvious did go through great lengths to get the same look and feel as the originals.

(I didn't play the complete game yet and playing on a flat screen. I am now in the third age). I've been playing myst since the nineties and this is the greatest version. Now we can see Myst in all its glory. I turned all the graphic options on including raytracing and it looks gorgeous. Also it becomes a lot less confusing when walking around in a 3D world instead of navigating through still images (although that part already was solved in 'RealMyst'. Note you can enable the FMV sequences in the settings if preferred (I enabled it). The world now looks totally realistic and especially the sea is a joy to look at.

This is a little demanding on the graphics (if you want to set everything to the max) so I had to wait until I got my new pc to play this (I own it on GOG's big competitor). This plays very much like the previous Deus Ex titles which is a very distinct gameplay from other games. Basically the games consists of hacking devices (a minigame with lots of possibilities where you have to move through a network of nodes). it is heavy on exploration i.e. find a vent and move through it or see that PDA entry lying around) or trying to get in that building by detecting a vent, hacking or by some other means. You can of couse brute-force your way through certain situations or sneak up on people. However don't expect an FPS Gameplay is not hard (if you play on standard difficulty (and that is how I like it since I play games for fun). The graphics are great and you can moce around freely when doing your quests. I am playing it right now and love the game.
