The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

No automatic update and mods: brilliant!

Yesterday I was able to prevent the latest Bethesda patch and it made me so happy! One thing I love of this game is how many things you can control, specially when using mods. Having Beth keep milking it even if they never bothered to fix it is so annoying, specially if it means imposing a non tested patch. I understand some rpg fans dislike Skyrim as it is quite different from the old school ones but in my opinion this game let you really role play as you go, it is up to the player to keep focus on what to do next and how. I like the open world style where you can use places and pieces of conversation to build up your plot, world and story. This is a game where the main story is more of an excuse to go around and discover way more things. I think people forgot the main point of it was the "open-world" concept. Some people are disturbed by the fact you can actually play this game even without following the main story, others, like me, instead love this aspect as it made it really open. Nowadays we use the expression "open-world" in a more narrow way, applying it to just the fact you do not need loading when changing scenario, or entering a building - well, most of the time. But originally it was more about not having rails, so trying to bring a bit of freedom and creativity into it. However, modders made a lot for it too, starting from creating fixes that the main company did not care to patch and providing ideas for additional contents that were lacking in the original, ideas on which Betshy capitalized after (see Heartfire dlc or creation club). Mods really add to the freedom and enhance the repeatability of this game, from better aesthetic to new content, there are options out there for every taste. With the gog version is enough to have a nexus account and a mods manager to customize your game as you wish. I am stating it as it was no evident to me in the beginning and I had to read the forum online to understand how to do it.

Disciples 2 Gold

No support from GOG - launching issue

So, while in the past I used to received useful support from GOG, today it seems they only use a broken AI and I cannot even log a ticket to be reached later on. After trying the workaround available on the self-help pages: - https: // support.gog. com/hc/en-us/articles/214069085-Disciples-2-Dark-Prophecy-and-Gallean-s-Return?product=gog - https: // support. gog. com/hc/en-us/articles/360019775837?product=gog Nothing changed: I could not launch the game I tried several time to log a ticket with the support without success. I can understand the bot would not be able to help but at least I would expect it to be able to create a ticket, considering I spent quite some time to provide useful details. Is there an alternative way to reach GOG to receive support for the products they sell? ************************ *ISSUE: The game is not starting. *Details: - I tried launching it from galaxy and from the application file within its folder but nothing seems to work. In both cases (clicking on "play"from galaxy or double clicking the app icon from folder) there is a flickering in the screen and I am prompted to the Galaxy game page (see screenshot "game page" I uploaded above) *Actions taken: - I made sure the game itself is whitelisted in my antivirus (screenshot upload); - I tried to follow the steps below (as per https: // support.gog. com/hc/en-us/articles/214069085-Disciples-2-Dark-Prophecy-and-Gallean-s-Return?product=gog): But no luck - I tried to follow also thee steps in https: // support. gog. com/hc/en-us/articles/360019775837?product=gog EVEN IF I do not think I have a gen 10 CPU, Anyhow, still no luck *Next? Can you please help me?
