One of the best, if not the best, modern Tomb Raider. It runs smoothly, looks and sounds amazing, and is consistently fun to play. The game still looks stunning in 2025, gameplay feels polished, and the plot keeps you engaged from start to finish. If you're a fan of the TR saga, action-adventure games, or want something visually appealing and satisfying to explore, this one is definitely worth it.

I’m quite enjoying it. As expected, it's a narrative-driven action-adventure game with serviceable RPG-lite elements, an intriguing plot in the VtM & World of Darkness universe, a good setting, and some Dishonored vibes. As you progress through the game, it only gets better in terms of diverse gameplay possibilities, new mechanics, and also narratively with the peculiar protagonist's duality. The real game begins after beating the first vampire boss. While the combat feels "clunky" at first, it also gets much fluid and satisfying once you learn how to make the best use of and complement your skills. Also, I haven't experienced any issues with the launcher, and performance is overall pretty good for an UE5 with Lumen, except for some traversal stuttering (the developer is aware of the performance issues and plans to patch it via updates). All in all, it's a good Vampire: The Masquerade game. I recommend it and rate it a 7 out of 10.

Syberia – Remastered preserves the original's enchanting story and beautiful world, now featuring improved sound design, visuals, and smoother controls. As a slow-paced, thoughtful adventure game, it still may feel dated or quiet to some players. However, if you appreciate relaxed, story-driven adventure games with a unique atmosphere and an engaging plot, you will likely enjoy this well-crafted remaster of the classic.

After installing the KB5067036 preview update, the red and green corruption during FMVs has been resolved on Windows 11 systems. However, the sound and playback timing still experience issues, at least in the SH4 GOG version. This is an immersion-breaking issue that requires a fix. Unfortunately, Microsoft now considers this issue, caused by KB5064081, resolved after the KB5067036 update. It is uncertain whether Windows 11 users will receive a complete fix. At this point, we'd better hope for some action from the GOG Preservation team, I guess. So buyers need to be aware of this situation. This issue breaks immersion, and I cannot recommend the current GOG PC game until it is resolved. I wonder if GOG can recode the FMVs to a more modern video format and have the game play those instead. Will see.

'Cronos: The New Dawn' delivers a mysterious story worth uncovering, solid survival gameplay, and brutally challenging combat. Excellent visuals, music, and atmosphere, with smooth performance to back it all up. Tough, but rewarding game (for having an easier and more story-focused experience, you may use a game trainer). I rate it an 8 out of 10, and, technically, it's likely Bloober Team's best game.

A quite good, solid AA single-player horror action-adventure with psychedelic vibes and a supernatural atmosphere. This game features a thrilling plot, a unique spirituality-based health system, well-acted characters, a strong soundtrack, varied enemies, and impressive visuals for its budget, all running smoothly without performance issues. The action may feel somewhat rough at the beginning, but it improves as you progress. Additionally, minor adjustments to the sound bitrate may be necessary, and note that dialogue choices do not impact the overall story. Overall, it’s a compelling experience that I rate a 4 out of 5 stars, or a 7.5 out of 10.

'Edengate: The Edge of Life' is a narrative-driven adventure in a post-apocalyptic setting. Players explore abandoned environments as a protagonist with no memory, uncovering the mysteries of both the world and themselves. The game excels in atmosphere, with good visuals and a haunting soundtrack. The gameplay revolves around exploration and easy puzzles ("walking similator"). The story delves into themes of loss, memory, and human resilience. While nothing groundbreaking in gameplay, it offers an intimate, emotional, and immersive experience for fans of narrative-driven games.

It was a pleasant surprise and an unforgettable journey. Draugen is a thrilling and captivating cinematic adventure in the 'walking simulator' genre, skillfully blending psychological thriller, light supernatural elements, and mystery. The game stands out for its exceptional storytelling, strong voice acting, and a perfect balance in its short length. With nice visuals and a great sound design, the game immerses you quickly into its eerie and captivating plot. If you're a fan of adventure games that prioritize storytelling, atmosphere, and thematic depth, Draugen comes highly recommended.

Reveil stands out in the psychological horror indie genre, offering some mind-bending twists. The haunting atmosphere and intricate narrative constantly challenge your perception of reality. The good visuals and excellent sound design significantly enhance the unsettling experience. One of the highlights was the puzzles; they were quite enjoyable to solve and added an engaging layer to the gameplay. Technically, the game is well-optimized and performs smoothly 99% of the time, with only a few minor stutters/hitches during traversal. The thrilling and disturbing journey is short but well-crafted. If you like narrative-driven psychological horror games and puzzles, don’t miss this hidden gem.
