Overall, I had a good experience with this game. It shows a lot of promise and attention to detail at first, but towards the end, I think the quality takes a bit of a dive. I really like Lynch as a character, I think Kane is not as interesting though. There are some memorable moments, but in the end it felt rather flat without much resolution. I wish there were more games like this.
In some ways, this is a better and more ambitious game than its sequel. The controls are pretty clunky and the AI is very poor. I like the characters most of all and the story is pretty engaging. Just for being different, I give it one more star. It’s probably never gonna happen but this is a game that could really benefit from a remake.
