Lost Ruins

Weird balance choices...

Basically you are too dependant to mp and hp regen, using any other loadout is a hidrance. The boss fights consist to spamming all the healing item that you hoarded through the levels. But this game does also something good, but this wierd choices it can only be considered a mixed bag for me.

Ion Fury: Aftershock

The over-bike...

I don't think that it was a good addition. The controls are clunky, and you get interruped every two seconds because the way is blocked. As for the other content, it's really a mixed bad that don't improve much the original gameplay.

Saya no Uta ~ The Song of Saya Director's Cut

Good but short.

A visual novel with very shocking and disturbing moments, but it's also very short. I wished that some plot points were explained more, but I guess I can't complain much since i bought it on sale. Also, for your information, this is the full version that doesn't need a patch.

Silent Hill 4: The Room

I don't really like this...

Listen, I could say I am a fan of this genre but I don't find this game really fun. The combat is extremely clunky even for this kind of games, the camera is a mix between new and old and it's locked on the MC and it's just terrible. Furthermore some enemies are invincible, and the setting is uninspired being an abandoned metro. I guess the idea of the room is pretty cool, but it's the only positive thing I can think about this game...

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire

It's okay...

But it really drop the ball near the ending when you have to deal with those terrible factions, and a main storyline that is almost non-existent. I give it three star because the world is fun to explore, but beware that the in game perfomances are terrible even to this day...

Children of Morta

It gets boring really fast.

The dungeons feel very repetitive with the same hordes of slighty different enemies. I was playing with a ranged character and the gameplay basically consisted in luring the enemy mobs, and killing them one by one. Rinse and repeat. The graphics is pretty good but the game seems to have a noticeable lag. Story is mediocre and it's something like, the forest is corrupted, and our family must defeat the big evil to save it. And on top of that, the game is not even that long with no post game content like secret levels or bosses.

Pumpkin Jack

It's Okay...

The graphic in this game looks pretty good for an indie project, but the gameplay is just too simple: you have like, 6 different weapons that shares the same combos so the combat gets repetitive fast. Even the platforming, that should be the most important part feel kinda of floaty. In this game you play as the bad guy but the story is not very interesting and in some parts, very very childish. All in all for the good atmosphere, graphic and simple gameplay it's an okay game but for the price of 30 €, is pretty short and you can complete in 5- 7 hours.

Ion Fury

Ion Fury will not be censored.

Voidpoint and 3drealms decided to not censor the game so they didn't remove the bottle of soap. In my opinion Ion Fury is very good ,with a quite long campaign and excellent game design. There's not a huge variety of enemies and the weapons are nothing revolutionary, but the good level design, the huge amount of secrets, and the fast gameplay make this a must have for every fans of old- school fps.
