This game is the best W40K RTS game out there! Just ignore II and III. Play this one instead! What I love in this game: -Base building -Diverse factions with each of one has its own unique units and relic units -Physics -Unit execution animations
Why 5 stars? Just Cause the game have a highly addictive gameplay! Just Cause the game is Open World and have a very large map! Just Cause there are plenty of drivable vehicles in this game, that includes all land, air, and sea vehicles! Just Cause I love the weapon sound designs in this game, it is very loud and very impactful! Just Cause this game have a wonderful and very detailed graphics, the environment in this game affects both structures and vehicles very well! For example, if you are in snow environment and if you stay there for too long, your vehicle or your suit will be slowly covered in snow which is pretty nice to see and I really love the appealing view of the world in this game! Just Cause you can Cause DESTRUCTION whenever you go! Be it military outposts, towns, and large towering cities! Just Cause you can do pretty much EVERYTHING in this wonderful game! And more importantly, JUST CAUSE THE GAME IS 2 GOOD!!!!!
At first, when I opened the game, it says about my directX is outdated. Then I look for solutions online(3rd part) and found some fixes, but then again it didn't work out for me either. Some fixes it did my game launched though, but it is all black screen with the background music playing. The game detail says "it works on windows 10" but beware! Dark Reign 1 is better than this game anyway. You can play four factions in Dark Reign 1 while you can only play two factions in this game, which is some disapointment.
AND IT IS SURPRISINGLY GOOD!!! First of all, I wanted to thank GOG for recommending this game to me and making it run on my windows 10 OS without any issues! Game visuals and graphics are great, especially the weather effects! Game unit controls are perfect! There is also a Attack-Move command for units(CNTRL+Right-Click your mouse button to a location that you want your units to send in) which is very important and what I want in RTS Games! This game have also a Random Map Generator and a Map Editor which is a godsend for me! And more importantly, this game have a 3 Civilizations or Factions with its own unique units and buildings which is what I really love the most in RTS Games!!!!! The pathfinding needs some work but.. it is alright. The AI in this game is also very challenging and fun to play against! The soundtrack is also great, especially in the game trailer! Yeah and thats about it! I am just surprised how good or great this game is! I really wish for a remaster of this game!
Yeah! You can command a tank with a minigun and 2X rocket pods, a giant crab mounted with missiles, a terminator(robots), and heck, you can even spawn a demon in this game! Plus, with great soundtrack!
Just shut up and launch the nukes!

I love how realistic this game is. This game is better than cnc generals.
