System Shock

Look at it hacker.

Review: System Shock Remake The System Shock remake is a masterclass in revitalizing a classic. Nightdive Studios has seamlessly blended retro sci-fi horror with modern design, preserving the eerie atmosphere and cerebral gameplay that made the original legendary. From the chilling voice of SHODAN to the richly reimagined Citadel Station, every element oozes style and tension. It's not just a remake, it’s a resurrection, executed with reverence and precision. For fans of immersive sims or sci-fi horror, this is essential gaming.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Standard Edition

A Diamond in the EXTREME rough

This was written after the 1.0.3 Patch After this patch (my) crashing issues have been mostly resolved but performance is still very spotty without mods. I dont have the highest specs around but Idont normally run into performance issues like this game has. I7-9700K 64GB RAM DDR4 3200 MT/s RTX 4070 2TB SSD *All this gives me a very unstable experience with my FPS fluctuating between 40-60 fps* The game is fun and feels refreshing even after years of playing the original trilogy and Anomaly. There are a ton of well animated and directed cutscenes that will be a problem for some people but I personally dont have an issue with this. The story is interesting and the English Dub while being "bad" really works for me in a "so bad its good" way. A-Life 2.0 is sadly "broken" at the time of writting this which is a huge bummer and a possible deal breaker for some. Its everything I wanted from a game series I desperately wanted to come back. I just wish performance was better and with time that could change.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl

Still good.

Released back in 07 I played this on low settings at 20-25 fps. Behold the wonderous slav jank that is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete with constant stuttering, npcs floating up through cealings, items falling through the floor and graphics/animations that will make any modern gamer ALT-F4 with the eagerness of winning the lottery. I love it.

Cyberpunk 2077

A flawed masterpiece.

Lack of polish during its launch along with unsatisfying endings dont stop this game from being what it is. Pushing graphics technology to the brink with fantastic gameplay and a strong narrative, Cyberpunk 2077 is still a masterpiece.

Resident Evil 2

Its RE2 Classic

Enough said

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

A Diamond in the rough.

A true gem of an indie game standing tall in the AAA arena.

Gothic 2 Gold Edition

20+ years later and its still amazing.

A game so ahead of its time that it still manages to impress today.

Days Gone

A true gem in the rough.

Forget all the negativity surrounding this game when it launched on PS4. The bugs and performance have been ironed out making the game look and run beautifully. What your left with is an open world zombie game with a sadly midiocre story but fantastic gameplay. A sequel would have truly pushed this IP to the next lext. Unfortunately Sony disagrees and no longer wants anything to do with this game or its potential future. Despite this, its well worth a playthrough.
