After playing the 2013 Shadow Warrior, I had only one wish: that the next SW be Co-Op. Lo and Behold, here it is! Game-wise it an essential cooperative experience! The difficulty is scale-able to accommodate both numbers and skill of people playing, which is great if you are introducing new ppl to shooters or SW. The host experiences a 1-second lag of the joining players' actions, but it's not PVP so it doesn't hurt too much. The mix of careful precision and utter madness arouses and engages the pleasure center of the brain in ways that I haven't felt since HALO's co-op back in 2002! Joining and hosting friends could only be easier if it didn't require the awkward peculiarities of GOG's GALAXY client, which is the only point where things go wrong: 1. WARNING! If you are playing on a laptop, DO NOT LAUNCH SW2 FROM THE GALAXY CLIENT! SW2 will NOT recognize your graphics card and will only use the integrated display adapter (very bad). 2. WARNING! If you accept a game invite through Galaxy's friend system, you MUST already have SW2 running, or SW2 will NOT recognize your graphics card and will only use the integrated display adapter (very bad). 3. Telling the game to run on "High Performance Graphics Processor" will not fix the problem and you will not be able to change the selected processor in-game. 4. You cannot invite friends to play through Galaxy, you must launch Galaxy, then the game, then invite friends from in-game, who must first launch the game (not from Galaxy!) and then open galaxy to accept the invite, or else no GPU usage for you! The only thing Flying Wild Hog and GOG did wrong with this game was to force multiplayer to be done through the Galaxy Client. It adds a frustrating asterisk to "DRM Free" and unnecessarily complicates multiplayer. I'm sure the GPU issue is fixable with a patch, but several people I know were already about to refund the game because of the GPU/Galaxy problem, until I showed them the workaround. Great Game, bad DRM

The game works great, runs at high framerates with no chugging. The AI moves smoothly and has no trouble colliding with eachother like in SupCom. My problem with this game is the way resource gathering works. You MUST have map control to win. You cannot build generators/metal converters or shield generators like you could in SupCom, which eliminates any defensive strategy and forces you to play map control. This really limits the variety of possible strategies and is a huge kick in the gut for me personally.
100% accurate enemies that pop out doors only after you walk past them. VERY HARD to see them most of the time. I haven't gotten to the MP yet, but it seems to have potential. If you want a good Singleplayer shooter of this style, go with SHADOW WARRIOR instead. If you want Multiplayer, then stick around.

This game is the TRUTH! The campaign could have been a wee bit longer, but the multiplayer is really where it is at! Have a party, play this game!!! The only thing this game needs is a sequel! And a few more pieces to work with, but is great as is!
