I don't know how many of you saw this, but the company released the source code and the assets for this game under the GPL. So you can now play this game on Linux, Windows and Mac. You can also play it for free since everything was released, code, graphics, everything. http://7kfans.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Kingdoms_(video_game) https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenkingdoms/

So you will still need to buy this game, but soon you can play it on any platform including modern Windows systems. http://7kfans.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Kingdoms_II:_The_Fryhtan_Wars https://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenkingdoms2/
I see that almost no one here seems to remember that a Linux client was originally released for this game. I was a beta tester for the Linux version. There is also a Linux server for the game as well. You can grab an installer here: http://icculus.org/~ravage/kingpin/ http://liflg.org/?catid=6&gameid=2 Both have Linux installer that read the cd/files and install it under Linux automatically. It is a great game with some features that games never repeated, the location damage.
