This is a true five-star. Even graphically, it holds well. The gameplay is improved. Missions are more interesting, execution options vary, there is a lot of replayability to explore another options or just locations itself. And story wise, it all makes sense. There is continuity to all the parts. I had a blast. Had to skip launcher, though. Game crashes way less often without it. It still may crash rarely. But it's no biggie. The fun is there and it's awesome.

About half of the missions are remakes of missions from the first game. No biggie. They are still nicely done. The new missions are of high quality. The game is much darker in themes and general climate. The stealth has been improved greatly My only issue is with the frame rate. I was able to tweak it, so the game was playable ok. Still, it felt like swimming through jelly once in a while. Other than that - playing chronologically - this is my favourite Hitman so far.

First off: win 10 may encounter issues during cut scenes - there's a fix on forum, so check it out if it hits you. As for the game itself, it's a big step-up from the first instalment of the title. The first mission has overreacting AI, but it can be forgiven since 47 is infiltrating a Mafia where everybody should recognize each other. There are some bugs (Hidden Valley, apparently can be fixed by lowering the frame rate of the game), luckily the game offers an alternative route, or you can just shoot your way through. Other than that, it's a solid entertainment. With great music (Jesper Kyd), and nice locations (my fav. being German embassy and the hospital in Malaysia. Loved the architecture. Generally a nice place to wonder about, pretending we are hard at work on our soon to be operated on contract).

The game has its flaws. It can be frustrating (it WILL be frustrating OFTEN). I'd still recommend glimpsing at a walkthrough and pushing forward rather than rage-quitting. The game has a story, and it's a neat one. There are two endings, and even the bad one feels satisfactory somehow (or maybe it's only me liking the theme of contract killers in pop-culture 'n entertainment). Locations are fine, climate is there, some humoristic moments (Quotes from "Scarface" and "Passenger 57"), and for me it didn't put me off Hitman 2 SA (yeah, I'm struggling there, too, with a nicer graphics). Game-play can be a nightmare. Corpses can stuck in the door, and before you are able to drag them into the room, the guard will show up and ruin your fun. The AI often acts unreasonable, and you may feel lost. So if you decide life is too short, and there are so many other Hitman titles out there still to play, yet you want to start it properly, there's no shame in helping yourself with some tips from the net and complete the game. It's worth it, despite being more than mildly annoying at times.

This is one of the best horror games I've ever played. It's climatic: you can feel claustrophobic, trapped inside giant planet cracker. The music, the atmosphere, the ambient sounds - all add to absolutely amazing surroundings. As for such an old game the graphics still looks very well. Zero gravity moments and vacuum are one of my favorite. This game feels polished to every detail. Your weapons, suits, places you visit all seam to be put there reasonably. The only thing I found irritating was the jump scares - necromorphs tend to do that all the time. However that's also the reason behind game keeping you vigilant at all times. I was actually tired near the end - my nerves were at their last. As it should be. Absolutely lovely game with plot that also makes sense. Plus a point for sense of humour: there are two mini-games. Allowed me to forget for a while what Isaac was doing there.

Waited for this game's definitive edition and was right to do so. "Not as good as PoE" - I've read... Well I've heard it before, long time ago, in regards to Planescape: Torment, when Baldur's Gate was triumphant. As much as I enjoyed BG, I consider P: T the superior of the two, and as much as I enjoyed PoE, Tyranny outshines it for me. The game in its complete form is a masterpiece! The "complete form" is very important here, since devs decided to add with DLC another ending, which is simply amazing, and I can see how Tyranny was worse off when it launched without it. There are only few bugs I can think of off the bat: - sound bug, footsteps can disappear and you have to re-launch the game. - too long loading screens, just like in PoE. - game is short... but, taking its re-playability aspect, maybe it's just long enough to want to replay it IMMEDIATELY! Pros: - Characters are written very well. From Tunon, Mark, Kyros her/himslf to your companions: the personalities are different and engaging. Me, I wanted to impress Tunon so much his presence was with me through my first walkthrough almost all the time, despite me actually seeing him several times. - The world: rich, full of secrets that remain secrets even when game's over. It's a complicated reality, vibrant and one you actually enjoy unearthing. It's also more dark, or should I say - more realistic then usual fantasy RPGs. - Flexible class system: you're not limited to cookie-cutter builds. Leveling is organic, the more you use something the better you are at it. And there's no level cap (at least I've not reached it yet). - Story: makes sense, is well written, also can tell you something about yourself as a person, you are after all to make some choices. - re-playability. Since there are multiple endings, you really will enjoy playing it at least twice if not four times, if not more. Too bad some epic stuff were put into the game only with some DLC... Probably what's got the game buried for many.
