Pros: = A visual style that I like better than "Minecraft", as far as "voxel" style graphics, go. = A cute little open-world game that's bright & colorful. Cons: = No option of gameplay involving weapons (of various types) and dungeons to head into for combat. (Like "Stardew Valley" has.) = Only 3 playable races?!? (Can't there be more, later on?!?) = Limited replay value. Close, but no cigar, in my opinion.
In due respect to the developers, not only does this game stink? A lot of the mechanics don't make sense, teh combat system is confusing and terrible, and it makes "Thousand Arms" (a dating sim / turn-based JRPG mix for hte PS1) look like a MAMSTERPIECE TO DIE FOR, in comparison! If you want a good tactical RPG? DON'T BUY THIS GAME; IT STINKS. Instead? Here are games of example that you'd be better off spending your money, on. = Disgaea (series) = Fire Emblem (series) = Final Fantasy Tactics = Onimusha Tactics (GBA video game) = Shining Force (series)
It's a good call for Bethesda to release this game as a DRM-free release. But the only real problem with this game? It STILL has game crashing glitches! Now granted, I understand there are some game crashing glitches, but unfortunately, the unnoficial patch I found on Nexus Mods doesn't even fix ENOUGH of them! And for that? Unless someone manages to find a way to convert Skyrim to work on the Unreal engine to get RID fo the worst of glitches, (the game crashing ones) then I'm afraid that this isn't worth buying. I appreciate Bethesda for trying, but unfortuantely? Unless "The Elder Scrolls VI" ends up having NO game crashing glitches? I'd be better off playing "FNAF World", than any of the main installlments of this franchise!
How else would I describe it; complete with mod support and replay value? The only thing it could have used built in would be USB gamepad support. But, knowing the existence of mods out there, I'm sure that's nothing that can't be fixed!
While I do appreciat the creators of this game for trying to be entertaining? The game is rather imbalanced, the controls are mediocre, and it's less polished compared to hte "Street Fighter" series; even making me prefer "Street Fighter 1", over this. My advice? If you must get this to try it and express your opinion? ONLY get it, when it's on sale, for 50% or less!
When I ran this game on my Windows 10 PC? It ended up crashing in the middle of gameplay. My advice/ In case this keeps happening, AND if you want to get this release, I advise only getting it if it's on sale. Otherwise? You'd be better off buying versions of thsi game that are released for game consoles, like the Wii, Nintendo Switch, and the like!
This game? It's nothing to die for. Granted, it's got it's similarity to "The SIms", but the game lacks things like character creation, and it feels rather complex, in comparison. With overly complex gameplay like this, I think I'd rather play any games within the "MySims" series, than this.
It's just a struggle to NOT GO BANKRUPT, and even worse; it's THIS game that makes a NON-CAPITALIST ECONOMY (from communism & fascism) suddenly look like a GOOD THING. My advice? DON'T PLAY IT; you're better off with "Mighty No. 9" on console! (Just don't bother getting it on Steam or Wii-U; those ports are a problem!)
