You Know A Game Is Good When...
You lose yourself for hours just playing it. This is one of those titles, a must play classic. Is it the best that's out there? Not really. There are plenty of other titles more refined than this, but very few that have a more compelling story. Otherwise, it features destructible environments, great lighting - though it could've been better and is probably hindered by modern hardware, and some amazing attention to detail. Such as bullets going right through their intended targets (I've accidentally shot several NPC's without meaning to). This might not seem like that big a deal, not unless you know a thing or two about guns, bullets usually don't stop once they enter an object. That's the exception not the rule, and it's quite nice to see a game feature this, even in 2026.
