For its time, phenomenal. Though I always felt there was something missing. It felt disappointing as a sequel to the good OG RE1. Still a good game but it's DECENT in my eyes. It feels like a fetch quest and nothing is really happening between moments until later in the game across all scenarios. Turn on HARD mode if you want a more interesting experience. Sadly this is a nostalgia bait for most; believing it's the best of the series...
I used to believe RE1 (1996) was the best. The quintessential entry...it's good. But recently revisiting RE3 this past year made me realize that RE3 is under appreciated and the most fun classic title to DATE. What a fun game.
The gore animations are the best in the series. The weapons are interesting and fun. The score is pretty good. Probably the most unique entry in the series with the most interesting lore. Sadly Rage Wars was the LAST good Turok game.
Labyrinth objectives, bland exploration. Map flows are amateur. The biggest issues is that the mod was hyped up to be something marginally solid to something of early id games but the difference is; id knew what they were doing. The new enemies are interesting and challenging, but 18 variations? Good thing it's free!
Nightdive once more returns with an incredibly good remaster. I've never played Heretic but LOVED Hexen. The online coop alone is hilariously good fun. Hexen has the best sprite work of any Doom engine game. It's a wonderful immersing experience. Worth every penny. Give this overlooked series a true chance!
Basically RE2 but better.
Resident Evil is scary fun but this is DINOSAURS! This game is literally Carnosaur 2 bug with Resident Evil goodness. As the author of "History of CARNOSAUR", this is a MUST BUY, along with Resident Evil 1 & Turok Dinosaur Hunter.
I'm having a great time playing this one! The b3st approachable MK ever! N64 graphics and charm! Buy it.
Just play it and buy it already.
Best Far Cry. Seriously immersive.
