Succubus Affection

Excellent animation and good combat

Let's get the obvious out of the way first, yes this is an h-game, and in that department it does a really good job at it. The main h-mechanic is to subdue the monster girls by beating them up or charming them with magic attacks, then screwing them until they become your friends. I know, it sounds really r*pey, and it basically is, but the setting makes everyone so cannonically horny that they all enthusiastically consent to all of it. The "sex scenes" are basically a "do anybody, anywhere on the screen" kinda deal, which is actually pretty fun to engage with. Each monster species has at least 2 positions, 1 dom 1 sub, which you can switch between at any time, as well as switch with any friendly monster girls nearby, which can set up some very interesting panaramic orgies. The pixel animation is also very good, each pose, and all the monster girls are very expressive and cute. For this alone, I would recommend the game. As for the actual gameplay; the game is a 2d action platformer, complete with jumps, dodges, melee attacks, blocks, and skills. The handling is a little stiff (the animations lock you in place which can screw you over) but its good enough that you'll get used to it fairly quickly. The best part of the combat is definitely the skill system, which allows you to customize your play style very nicely: you can pick up to 10 different skills that range from melee combo extensions, to ranged bullets, to close AOE's, to tether attacks, etc. Each skill has a cooldown, which makes you have to think about your skill order quite a lot. The enemy attacks are also very diverse, which can make the game pretty challenging if you so choose, or you can pull each enemy into a 1v1 for an easier time. Overall, I think the gameplay is a worthwile experience if you're craving a casual hack and slash. I definitely recommend this game. It's not perfect, but it has a unique mix of mechanics that make it very memorable. PS. Rebind the keys for one-handed play!! Trust me.

Summer Memories Deluxe Edition

A Very Cute H Game

I absolutely adore the aesthetic this game goes for. The isometric pixel graphics with the point-and-click game style give this little game a very homely feel. That tied in with the calm music direction really lets you get lost in the six maps in the game. In terms of gameplay, it has an extremely basic setup; everything you do in this game comes down to some sort of mini-game focused around managing a meter on the right side of the screen which does a good job of keeping the game feeling fresh. Despite this simple premise, the game gets surprisingly clever about the approach to each mini-game so that they all feel unique to the action you are supposed to be simulating. For example, the fishing mini-game has you "chase" the fish up and down the meter by controlling when you hold the mouse button, while the running mini-game has you time your steps by alternating right mouse clicks and left mouse clicks according to rising dividers on the meter. The story is very simple, it has you as a child on summer vacation visit your aunt's family in a rural seaside town. You have one month to do as many memorable activities as possible, this includes playing mini-games, talking to important npc's, drinking milk, and doing your homework with your two older cousins. The main appeal here is in exploring the various side stories of the secondary characters, since they are surprisingly engaging. As for the h-scenes, they are pretty good for a pixel game. Each girl has a few higher res pictures that you unlock, but most of the action will be in the form of sprites in a variety of poses. I think its quite cute, to be honest. They unlock slowly in the beginning, but as you progress you'll practically be bouncing between girls at every opportunity. Overall, I think this game is a very mellow experience that captures the slow lifestyle of the town your in. I think it's definitely worth a buy for anyone that wants to relax late at night.

Seed of the Dead

Short fun L4D with a spicy twist

Let me start by saying that if you have an aversion to sex or gore then feel free to skip this one because that's all this game pretty much amounts to: an excuse to put breasts and blood in your face, constantly. That said, for what it's worth, it's a pretty fun arcadey shooter where you shoot the brains out of hordes and hordes of zombies with the help of your three sexy, quirky companions. The game feels ok to play, it's somehwere around the middle of the smooth/jank spectrum--the animations on the actions give a good feel of what your character is doing, but the bullets feel like they travel too slow or the hits feels too insubstantial to really satisfy. If the game were longer, or if the game were harder, then I think this would be a much greater detriment, but as it stands, the gunplay feels like a serviceable break from the story side of the game. The other major gameplay mechanic (if you can call it that) is a timing based button clicker that you can engage in at any time during a level. When done well, it refills your and one of the girls' health bars, which is nice. I of course, am talking about the sex mechanic, but you probably won't even notice it most of the time because you'll be trying to stay alive and while it's happening. Overall, the gameplay IS fun in a "developer's first game" kind of way, where the mechanics aren't fleshed out completely, but there's some neat ideas behind the scenes. As for the story and lewd parts of the game, they're also alright. The basic premise of the story is like a cliff notes of a Resident Evil game (basically, oh no there's zombies, we need to find a place to escape!). So if you're down with that then this will tide you over for an evening. The sex scenes aren't up to the standards of an Illusion game, but they'll get the job done good enough. Definitely a decent game to pick up on sale, or just something to drop 4 hours on if you're bored and horny.

Rabbit Burn

Rabbiculous and ballsy

Are you bored and horny? Looking for a way to kill an hour? Need a pick-me-up game to start the night? Well then look no further because this game is perfect for the task! I'll be honest with you, this game is barely a game, mechanically speaking. The only interaction you have while engaging in the main game mode is 'aim' and 'shoot'. That said, what this game lacks in depth it makes up for in EXPLOSIONS VIOLENCE and JIGGLE PHYSICS. The way the game works is that there are 6 colored balls (enemies) and 1 white ball (you) on a field with obstacles, rabbit men, and bunny girls. The goal is to hit the enemy balls with your ball to create explosions that rocket the balls into other balls making more explosions, and so on and so forth. These projectiles then impact the rabbit men (including yourself so be careful) knocking them out, which gives you free reign to run around the map "collecting" the bunny girls the only way rabbits know how. Each round has a timer to limit how much "collecting" you can do per round, which is extended whenever a knockout occurs. But be careful, because any rabbit men that are still standing are also free to "collect" the bunnies they run in to. If any two rabbits cross paths theyll square up and slug it out. When you "collect" all 6 bunnies in a stage, you win. Easy peasy! So yeah, not a deep game, but if you're in a gaming rut, try this one out to get you back up and ready for action. Also, did I mention that everybody is constantly dancing to smooth jazz? No? Well they do! Its actually a very nicely animated game for something so... indie, let's say.
