The Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate (Book Two)

The only Kyrandia game worth playing

I bought the entire Kyrandia pack, but only managed to finish this second game of the seres. I hated the first and third game, but this one I found utterly enjoyable. The story is a bit blah, but the main character and the potion puzzles are wonderful! Skip the first and the third, just buy this one!

The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge (Book Three)

Just awful

A huge disappointment. The game has serious flaws, crazy amounts of dead-ends and frustrating wandering around and trying this and that and hoping for a right combination. The puzzles are not adventure game puzzles that you're used to in Sierra's or Lucasarts' games. I bought the entire Kyrandia pack, but only managed to play the second game, as it's the only one with good gameplay and a fun lead character. Nr. 1 & 3 are just lame and I didn't bother finishing them.

The Last Express

Confusing

I keep getting lost in the train. Also as a fan of point and click's where you can't die/fail, this one just feels like a disappointment.

Stacking

Not that great

A really fun idea, and I would've loved to play more but unfortunately the graphics and gameplay made me super quezy, so not recommended for people who suffer easily from motion sickness... :(

The Whispered World: Special Edition

A true star

Just a super adventure, definitely in the top 5 of best and most original games i've ever played (and I've been playing for 20 years). Looks great and the story is just magical, especially the ending. The puzzles remind me of old LucasArts in all the best ways. Hours of good fun, definitely worth 10-15 euros!

Broken Age: The Complete Adventure

Infantile

Childish and very average. Also, way too easy. Looks great though!

Blackwell Bundle

Loved it

An absolute gem of a game. The games are pretty short - which is why I recommend playing them one after another, and consider them more like chapters of one longer game. As a fan of classics, this one was a perfect gaming experience for me.

Journey of a Roach

Interesting but controls suck

The idea and story are fun and interesting, but unfortunately if you are prone to feel nauseous when playing FPS games, you'll probably feel a bit sick when playing this one too :( I can only play 15 min at a time, max.

I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream

OVERRATED

I've wanted to play this for a long time,. but right from the beginning, I was disappointed. Sure, there are some interesting elements but the puzzles are illogical, dead-ends multiple and voice acting pretty unimpressive. Not my cup of tea, even though I usually enjoy classics.
