Enjoyed the story a lot, but it was cut fairly short. Didn't encounter any real game-breaking bugs except for on a couple side missions and the occasional crash during the final mission which was a bit frustrating. Game has 2 Acts, when you beat The Heist mission you've basically finished half the game. Whoever bound the skip dialogue button to the same one as the toggle crouch button, shame on you. TDLR; Enjoyed the game, but it's fairly short. If you focused solely on the story mission you can speed past it super quickly.

Game breaking bug in Twilight Cathedral area roughly two hours in, where you need to pick up an items to unlock a gate of some kind. When I picked up the second item out of three needed, the bug happened causing the item to get lost forever and unable to pick it up again. Weird bug I thought, so I reloaded my last save to before I picked it up. Did the puzzle again, and got the item only for the bug to happen again. Looked it up online, apparently it was in the original 2010 release and they didn't bother to fix it there or in this remaster. I'd understand if it was some minor visual glitch, but a literally game-breaking bug that hard-locks progression and it wasn't fixed after a decade? Uninstalled it immediately.

It's a top-down shooter a lot like Alien Shooter and Zombie Shooter. Personally it's better than Alien Shooter for me. The saving the frustrating to say the least, the game only saves once a level is complete and a level can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. The game itself is fairly easy, I played it on easy the first time as I just wanted to cruise through it and enjoy the giblets, however in the last three levels the difficulty curve gets ridiculous, and the final boss is just a meaningless bullet magnet. The second-to-final boss is easier the type-2 heavy enemies. The weapons feel fairly weak and there is no melee. The controls are clunky and there is practically zero key bindings, forget using a controller/gamepad as this game is unplayable using one as it has no left joystick support for some reason even though it recognises it and does not support triggers (I use a PS3 controller emulating an XBOX360 PC controller via DS3, works perfectly with Guacamelee, Don't Starve, etc). The save games are mapped to player profiles which are actually different control schemes and are named so. Graphically the name does feel 2006 but does feel a bit dated. In short; use a keyboard+mouse, no replay value, dated graphics, clunky save system, retarded controller support, fun while you play but not much more. Wait for a sale, best played in co-op.

In short, it's fun while you have all your starting equipment because the game is mostly filler enemies that annoying chip at your health, ammo and items while breaking your equipment so by the time you get into the game you have absolutely nothing but your worthless in-game fists. Balancing the enemies with the map would help the game, because you basically get nothing from the start, 8 out of 10 playthroughs you'll probably get nothing remotely helpful to your current situation. The game's full of filler. Would not buy again.

A predatory murder simulator where lightening fast and highly precise skills are needed to survive with little-to-no margin for error. This game is everything you heard and more. The heart-pounding thrill of systemically murdering thugs while trying not to be murdered yourself keeps you on your toes, for one mistake and it's all over. It's brutal, it's gory and you'll feel every single bit of it.
It's a lot of fun once you know what you're doing as the hacking in the game can get quite tense when you're down to those 10 seconds. But the game can be broken. After getting caught a few times I made a new character and got a mission to delete or copy files as usual. Only this time the file servers were empty, rendering me unable to complete the mission, leaving me with the only option to abandon several missions and love my Uplink ranting for no reason what-so-ever. But if you don't run into those bugs, the game is very fun.

The game's full of filler and is repetitive. Would not buy again.
