Just like all their other games this is another hit adventure game. You never go wrong with Wadjet Eye. I love everything about this game, except the character art style. I think their previous titles with their high quality pixel art is superior to this new style, which took a while to get used to. With that said, this is a very ambitious game that tackles something as tricky as time travel and does it really well. They use it in such a clever way to make fun and engaging puzzles, that reminded me at times of Day of the Tentacle.
If you like the other Hero of the Kingdom games you'll like this one as well.
This game is fantastic and is still an unique game after all these years. The review bombing is shameful and is just developer/publisher hate rather than judging the product. The enhanced edition has brought some amazing things to NWN, such as restoring the multiplayer server list, creating a simple way to download the required files when joining custom content servers, fixed bugs and increased the opportunities for creating new content for the game by improving the modding tools.
The gameplay is horribly outdated, unlike many other great point and click games. Breaking your save game early into the game, without knowing it until many hours into the game is simply a waste of time and a mechanic I'm glad the industry has gotten rid off. Can only recommend it with a walkthrough by your side.
Something about this game just didn't seem coherent. I've played tons of point and click games but for some reason this one was a chore to get through. I liked the story and its themes, but the puzzles and pacing were lacking.
Despite its bugs the game is simply amazing. This is a testament to the things it does right. - Great story - Amazing characters - Interesting environments - Fantastic setting - Great conversation system I highly recommend this to any RPG fans as it does character roleplaying extremely well through its conversation system and different solutions to missions.
Absolutely amazing game from start to finish. Even the Expansion Packs could be standalone games and receive high praise. CD Projekt Red has raised the bar for what is expected from RPGs going forward.
