Good expansion, but not perfect

This expansion, of course, requires The Walking Dead: Season One to play, and doesn't follow just one single character. Instead, you choose which character you want to play, then work your way through a short story with them. Then you're taken back to the character selections and pick a new one. To be honest, it's really just filler space. Even so, it's still enjoyable. Same great artwork as TWD:S1, same great voice acting, same interface. It's just that the stories are too short to really get a good feel for the characters. The choices that you make in 400 Days does have an effect on what happens in TWD:S2, but it's not really that much of a difference, in my experience. All things being fair, though, I'm not sorry that I got it. If you're a completist, get it. If you have TWD:S1 and you love The Walking Dead, get it. But if you're on a tight budget, and you're looking for something to play for a long, long time, you can probably skip it. Personally, I like it for what it was. Just don't expect too much.

Meaningless

Meaningless. But harmless. It's a standalone quick money grab. 1 hour and 10 minutes of gameplay.

Virtually no impact to the series.

I've played and thoroughly enjoyed playing The Walking Dead Season One by Telltale. Therefore, I picked up a copy of the 400 Days add-on. It's pretty much more of TWD with a different cast. A few hours long. I played it. I enjoyed what it offered and I was rather looking forward to carrying over my decisions from Season One and 400 Days into Season Two. However, when I played through Season Two I discovered that the choices I made in 400 Days virtually had no impact on the story. All it did was allow the characters from 400 Days to be seen briefly in Season Two and that's about it. There is one character 400 Days that comes along with you in Season Two but I felt that the character was forgettable and inconsequential to the story as a whole. Pick this up if it's going cheap. It's worth no more than a couple of GBP/USD/etc. As a fan of the Telltale's The Walking Dead, I wouldn't give this a high recommendation.

3 star dlc. 4 star value.

Thought I'd add a review since there isn't one. This is an okay dlc. about 2-4 hours or so depending if you exhaust all dialogue options etc. roughly the length of an episode in the standard seasons. you do get some of these characters in season two so it's kind of neat so get some backstory on them that you would otherwise miss. it's not essential to appreciate nor understand these characters in season two but it's neat. you get to play as several characters and not as just one. really...it's nonessential to appreciate season 2 but it's interesting and worth the price. if the price was much higher I'd be reluctant to recommend it. it's really a 3 star dlc in comparison to the 5 star regular seasons but the price is more than fair imo and I don't regret playing through it...so I guess I bumped it up a star for that. it's not a great value but a good value for sure. you get a few more emotional corners to back yourself into so if you're on the fence in between seasons 1 and 2 and really enjoyed season 1 try it out.

Short, under-developed stories

Because each story only lasts just over 10 minutes, there is not anytime to get attached or like any characters introduced in the pack, and the near non-existent consequences for Season 2 make this a pack for completionists only. The stories are interesting, but they end before you can truly care that much.
