The first game was really amazing. But the second one is an upgrade on every aspect of the game.
Metro 2033 was the first game I ever bought on Steam when it was released, and I still own the physical copy to this day. From the very first time I played it on normal difficulty, I was completely captivated. The atmosphere, the graphics, everything about the game was so immersive and gorgeous. I fell in love with it immediately and ended up replaying it on every difficulty level. Now, in January 2025, here I am again, enjoying the game just as much as I did all those years ago. If you’ve enjoyed the games, I can’t recommend the books enough—they bring even more depth to the incredible world of Metro. Buy games on GOG they are DRM free and support developers.
