A solid adaptation of the Battletech boardgame. I'm really enjoying the setting and artwork, strategies, mech and base building, custom NPC recruitment, stomping on things, and of course, using a particle projection cannon to blow a gaping hole through the chest of my startled opponents. However, my unmodded game has suffered crashes every few hours and an annoying bug where the NPCs voices just stopped working.
Xenonauts really captures the spirit of the classic UFO Enemy Unknown and the joys of scouring a burning cornfield for child sized grey humanoids who lack noses, genitalia or remorse.
