Was the only Steam Early Access game in my library I didn't feel ripped off months after purchase. Usually serious urges for Arpgs come once a year, or every couple months, and every time I've returned to GD there's always been improvements or something totally new that wasn't present when I quit during early access. Now that it's finished it's even better. The only qualm I have is there's nothing similar to BattleNet. But that's not particularly an issue because every person I've traded with or dueled hasn't been hacking, and hacking's generally frowned upon within the community. If you enjoy D2 or TL2 get this game, it'll keep you busy for many hours. Probably decades, too.

I logged into GOG today only to find Zomboid on here! I've patently waited for this moment a long while... I grabbed my wallet and instantly bought this, now owning this on GOG and Steam. This game's the best zombie survival out there, bar none. No other way to explain than to detail an encounter I had the other day, to wit: I'm walking along the main drag leading to West Point on a Multiplayer server, see another player zing-zagging through zombies with an apparent baseball bat. So I keep walking, he's got his own issues, I tried to help him by shouting "Over here!" but the zombies focused on him. Then, suddenly, the guy's hitting me with his bat (no pun ). Luckily, I never travel to West Point without my trusty, tried and true, sawed-off shotgun ... hence, I turn and Swiss cheese his butt with three buckshot blasts. About five seconds later I watch him slowly walk off and bleed out. I've been shot, stabbed, and caught on fire (once) whilst in that god-forsaken town. In this game it's all about survival with a capital S. You must collect food, farm food, build a "Safe" base; evade mass hordes of the undead that will migrate. If you get shot you'll be forced to pull the bullet out, stitch/bandage up, and press on ... until you see the how you died. Can you survive the winter? Support these guys, they've done an amazing job!
I've never been into WW2 combat or games, or anything WW2. But I took a chance and bought this game knowing not what to expect. This game's blown me away. I've went my whole strategy career not even knowing this type of game existed. It's basically a war simulator (Editor included ;)) with surprising depth. Every battle is an actual battle, and it's not like most WW2 games I've 'seen' that try to be all Hollywood, instead it's basically a long list of maps that you wage war on, and it's fun as hell. You can control every unit, their supply ... you'll see a tank roar over the tree-covered ridge ahead, and panic—your AT unit's behind a rock, you swing the bastard around and blast the enemy tank's turret out of commission. It's great fun and highly recommended. Glad I made the purchase. This will be a game played for years, now we just gotta get Assault Squad 2 on here, and Call to Arms.

Great game. Never did I get the chance to play Turok when I was growing up but always heard about it. It's like a mix between Quake, Crash Bandicoot, and Doom. It's worth the price, considering, besides the updates for modern systems, that soon a Map Editor will be released. With custom maps this game will live forever!

When I purchased this game I wasn't even in the mood for it, or have any desire to run a prison, but I bought it anyway because it looked interesting and my Wife's into games like this. I played it and Wow! The game's crazy, probably one of the best business/tycoon games I've ever played. I watched a guard get stabbed in the shower, whilst trying to break up a fight, then I watched the same felon make a run for the entry point of the prison (as I didn't know about differences of doors at the time) only to be intercepted by two guards and beaten with batons. Was awesome, pure awesome. Your imagination is the limit when it comes to how you'll construct your prison. Some of the prisons I've seen others create are mind-blowing. One of the few games worth its price, and then some.
