Quake II

My Childhood.

I played the crap out of quake2 when I was younger. If you want to play multiplayer go here, http://q2s.tastyspleen.net/ That port comes with a built-in server list and nice GFX features for modern systems. No hassle other than an install and you can hop on and start DMing in less than two minutes.

Satellite Reign

Gem

Don't really know why people hate without stating reasons, but I'm having fun with this game. It's a big city you can just roam in. The first thing I did was just walk around my squad and see available options. The only thing this game really needs is mod-tools of some sort, preferably map editor for the building blocks of a long-lived community, and/or random missions.

Anno 1701 A.D.

Great Game.

Loved this game back when, my only complaint was the DRM that made it impossible to play on Windows 7. Now that it's on GOG, that's no longer an issue. Probably the best Anno a notch above 1601.

Eador: Genesis

Warlords for the Modern.

Fantastic Game! I've attempted to get into HoMM3, AOW 1-3 and I've always found them boring. If you've ever played Warlords 3, back in the day, this game's like that times 10. Multiplayer is there, though the store page says different. Eador is very simple at first but hard to master later. It's a shame I only first learned about it here on GOG and not when it was released. Get this game!
