Moon logic! So much moon logic in this point-and-click adventure game. Given the setting and the goings on, it never grates (e.g. of course you can use matches to regrow a skeleton's antlers) and often amuses (e.g. and of course said skeleton now bleeds a spicy sauce). The game is short (I suck at adventure games and completed it in a sitting with a decent score). There is replayability, as each chapter awards you a score based on what you were able to discover and solve. There are links to chapter-specific video walkthroughs in the main menu for whenever and whenever the moon logic defeats you. The plot is ... nonexistent. Expect a surrealist impressionist's take on character study, not a cohesive story. Buy it on sale. As other reviewers note, this game will wet your whistle and leave you wanting to try the rest of the series.

Good: If you like Pokemon: then good news: it's a heck-of-a-lot like Pokemon circa 2004. Fast travel and quick character movement are introduced from the get-go As of 10 hours playing while constantly trying out different Coromon, I haven't had to spend any time grinding for EXP Bad: You cannot skip or speed up any battle animations. No matter how great they look, after a while they all seem so very loooooong. Wonderful: This runs seamlessly on a non-gaming Linux (Fedora 36) laptop through Wine.
