STAN CAN DO WITHOUT THAT PRETENTIOUS BACKGROUND VOICE it ruins the entire game genre with: let me be clear hey I'm annoying and won't let you enjoy your spare time. This game was not meant to be fun and thast's that out of the way. That voice is the metaphor that NGOs are boring as hell. The controls are a bit clunky but performance and graphicswise pretty good. I will put the game aside because I can't stand that voice anymore. And because of it only three stars.

I am experiencing sound problems lip-sync issues hopefully gets fixed soon This is made with Unreal Engine graphics are outsatanding controls run very smooth combat is well balanced, has three difficulties in the game options doesn't say in the discription, but it's probably Open World-ish (?) the game is not hard on your system resources very well optimized BIG THUMBS UP !!!

somewhat likable If you never played Mass Effect you will like it, maybe or maybe not. But if you have played Mass Effect like me (20 times at least up to perfection), you start comparing. The Characters are well made and their voice-acting is acceptable. The Quests are little less intuitive to bordom, though. Basically, you need AorZ, Character B tells you how to get it if you do him a favor, and along the way you find more needy people who will help you if you do them also a favor, etc. There's nothing wrong with that. Mass Effect was essentially pretty much the same with one big distinction. Mass Effect was fun. The Outer Worlds try to be Mass Effect and Fallout at the same time. That was a little to much to accomplish. You have to like the game or hate it, because of the game mechanics. To compare, it's a little like as if The Outer Worlds face the same problem as all newcomers in the Battle Royal Genre and eventually die. Sadly, The Outer Worlds have achieved nothing new or outstanding. It is an old gameplay with lots to remmenance of other titles in the genre which are far better. The controls and combat is very well done without any complaint. The graphics, sure show their age, but that's fine considering there are worst titles like Elix. For a 30 quid game it is way too expensive for what it is. Period!
