Jagged Alliance 3

A competent, if uninspired sequel

In effect, Jagged Alliance 3 is an exaggerated remake of the second game, which is more or less what the fans of the series wanted for twenty plus years. It doesn't introduce much new, and it turns its characters into caricatures, but what it does, it does well.

Neverwinter Nights Diamond

Best multiplayer RPG to this day

If you are looking for an immersive game, this is it. After all these years the multiplayer option of the game is still thriving, and those who have played the custom content the community has created know just how advanced this game is. The release date doesn't do it justice by far, as there are still numerous things that are unique to this game and it continues to grow through the hard work of the community. There is a mod and server to suit any RPG fan's taste. Also, the community is made up of people that love roleplay, which is practically impossible to find in modern MMORPGs and gives NWN that feeling of immersion you won't find anywhere else. Unfortunately, it is true that the original single player part of the game is rather poor, but there are amazing community-created single player mods, of which the best cost money, but are all very reasonably priced and definitely worth it. Back in 2002 I paid full price for this game, and it was the best money I've spent on a game to this day.
