First before i start, i have to say that this game is a masterpiece very faithful to the OG, but not a 1:1 remake either (which is great) The game is longer, have expended areas, a revamped gameplay, the music got remixed and reworked, one new enemy and two new endings. The story was reworked a bit too. Now here's the cons, because there's a lot of cons because of the engine used (Unreal Engine 5 sigh..) The game vanilla has huge stuttering issues and lower-end PC will get crashes too probably. Here a list of issues the game has and what i recommand - Ultra+ mod on nexus (For performance issues and stutters)(doesn't fix all of it obviously) - Ray reconstruction + Ultra Quality DLSS support (Check PC wiki for the guide or my GOG forum thread about it) - Skin unlocker on nexus (Unlock the missing mask from pre-order and PS5 exclusive) Here's what the game hasn't restored or removed (contains spoilers you are warned) - Ranking system is gone (all it's rewards is also gone) - Born From A Wish DLC - Great Knife from Pyramid Head (is in the game, but not usable as a weapon) - Hyper Spray is there as an easter egg and not a weapon (rank system upgrade is gone too) Now what i wished would have been added into the game.. - Ranking system and all it's rewards - More NG+ content (weapons , items and locations) - Costumes to unlock and to use - Unlockable artwork and music - BFAW DLC obviously My review of the game is simple : Buy the game, Bloober and Konami cooked. The game is as good as the OG, the music is a bit inferior to the original especially when you compare Theme Of Laura and Theme Of Laura ll. The story is well expanded, well written and more endings to experiment. I can't recommand enough this masterpiece.
I grew up with that RE2. Paul Hadad will always be the best Leon. What to say about the game or the GOG re-release. They fixed the issues that was mostly there on the platinum version of the game. This version doesn't use the superior Sourcenext version. However, you can use a conversion patch and HD mod to improve the experience. I recommand buying this game and to mod it.
Another great game from an underrated franchise.. This game was made by Shinji Mikami (director of the OG resident Evil 1-4). This is a throwback to those games.. noticable with the easter egg from the first enemy in the game. I like the game for what it is.. a psychological horror game. The plot is interesting, but left with a lot of question that the second game ignore. I recommand this game 100% The only reason why i didn't put 5 stars is because.. some content are missing from the various different version available on epic and windows store. Which has a first person view , new features and a few performance improvement.
This is the reboot that brought back the franchise to it's former glory. Now back on GOG with DRM after all those years. The game is untouched from a update standpoint.. HOWEVER, multiplayer and not there on the GOG version and SnapMap is there but with a lot of limitation. Price of having a DRM-free version. As for the game itself.. A masterpiece. - The atmosphere feels like Doom - The demons looks like demons - The OST is the best in the franchise (imo) - Challenging game - Fun to play Nothing more to say.
Soooo... Hear me out. The reason why i didn't put 5 stars is because... 1. GOG release the same version as steam, with all the stuttering being there 2. Mira mask can't be obtained with the GOG release (because Konami never re-released those DLC) 3. no GOG overlay support. However the game itself is great. One of the best game of 2025 and i maintain that. the music is great and the gameplay is great. The only things that affect this game is mostly technical. So i'm asking GOG or Konami/bloober to fix the stuttering. Add Maria DLC , ranking system and hyper spray back.
That soundtrack is a banger.. this reboot revive Doom and put the standard we have in Doom Eternal and The Dark Ages. I hope they will release Doom Eternal on GOG next with it's Soundtrack (and DLC's OST as well)
I'm happy it's released and we need to show Capcom that we are interested by Dino Crisis. we need some fixes for FPS drops, texture glitching and support GOG Overlay.
This game is a masterpiece of it's genre. they need to add more games on GOG. Starting with Power Drill Massacre. I recommand 10/10
This game is a follow-up from the OG movie. The story is canon (per Carpenter words) The game itself is mid, i would rate it 6/10 and 7/10 for the remastered version. The first half is just cool and expend the story left from the OG movie. The second half of the game is just a standard generic shooter with janky aiming system. I liked it for what it was, but it's not a masterpiece. I do recommand it for those who like the movies. However wait for sales.
I played that game on Stream. I have to say it was a very good experience. There was a bug with the washing machine that added some humor to it. However i will say the story while being short was a lot of fun. The music was very good in my opinion. I definitely recommand if you like spooky game and gore games.
