I love this game. I played that game on PS3 release and i finished it on steam as well. it is a classic and you shouldn't hesitate for it. Just buy it. I recommand to use the HD texture mod and 60 FPS cutscene mod. We need to preserve this masterpiece.

This game was gifted to me on steam by a friend. When i played the game the first i got addicted to it not gonna lie. When i've finished the game at 100% (achievements included) i brought the GOG version as well. Which i did 100% achievements too. Not much i can criticize.. Pros - Awesome experience - Good OST - Variety of gameplay (9 vocations and 6 for your pawns) - Multiple endings - 100h average to complete at 100% - NG+ Cons - No multiple save slots - GOG version is missing two patches from the steam version - Online is bugged (Capcom need to look into it) However i recommand at 100% Use this mod to fix the game https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/685
First : I want to warn that this is the Original PC version release, and so is not a HD remaster or anything like that. Now time for the review. The game is pretty much intact except they did some work. They added a 4k and 1440p option, they fixed some bugs and even restore some of the hauntings that weren't in the PC version (However i think a few is still missing). They have also fixed the cutscene so they run to 30 FPS from 15 FPS in the original release. The game run super well and he would be a lie to tell that KONAMI haven't made some work. However i do understand that people wanted Silent Hill 1 , 2 , 3 instead of this one or at the really least a bundle with all 4. It's what i wanted too. I will however put a minus for this port is the lack of a 60 FPS option. To KONAMI Time for you to release the Silent Hill 2 & 3 From HD collection for PC. I still have the Original release for both but for those who can't or don't have them.
Because the port is not very good. In fact it's the original pc version but working on modern computer and with a few fix like the door bug. However there's a lot of it that is broken. he goes to texture warping , framedrops (against gray fox , and while using stealth camo or just camo from otacon and the four soldier in the elevator). After ocelot boss fight the cutscene with gray fox can end for no reasons. There's a lot glitches exclusive to the PC version like the PSG1 god mode (which is used in speedrunning). Among other Bugged/glitched there's some bug with musics some are not looping correct and someone are just missing anyway. PS1 emulator is way better than this port. Buy it if you want to play this game and don't to use an emulator or a PS1 but he shouldn't be your first choice.
EN: I'm very happy with this version which the MSX version with all content from MGS3 Subsistance ( Which include the infinity bandana and boss survival mode + easy mode). However i don't understand why it's not accompanied with Metal Gear 2 : Solid Snake. FR: Je suis content de l'avoir acheter n'ayant jamais put jouer aux Metal Gear fondateur. Je suis content. Ce jeu est la meilleur version du jeu (Version MSX) mais inclus tout les bonus de la version MGS3 Subsistance (Qui inclut un mode facile , un mode boss survival et bien entendu le fameux bandana d'infinité). Bon produit toutefois il n'y a pas Metal Gear 2 : Solid Snake.
