Another awesome Warhammer 40K game.. Not your fast run of the mill story or game play. This is one that you will watch to take your time doing.
Causes battery backup to kick in.. game causes system power use to increase.. odd.
This game is really good once you learn the nuance of playing it and get into the full game and campaign mode running your unit. A lot of mission variation, you control where and what you do and there are mods to even tweak things to make it even better. It has some quirks like having to run around in a command center and mech bay that literally serves no real purpose but the game over all is pretty good.
The launch started things out badly. We ALL know that. So did No Man's Sky and look where that awesome game is today. Promises kept.' with 2077, the fact they continue patch, update and expand the game, at least right now, says to me they intend on making this game what it was supposed to be and what it will be over time. The game has some great storylines to it. It can be engaging and fun and keep you going for hours. I would like to see MANY more content DLC's that add much more to the story, the depth and the replay-ability of the game overall. It has already come a long way. I would love to see it grow even more.
Buy this and you will not be disappointed. However, for even more, you MUST download the two major mods and play with either... The original Combined Mod 3.2 or the newer Gentleman of Fortune. Think of these mods like the XCOM Long War mods.. essential addons that add so much more to the game.
This is still one of my favorite all time space tactical sim games... I really wish they would have continued the franchise... great story line, awesome ship control and configuration etc... In fact, I think I might just install this again and play... you will not regret buying this title..
