A bit of a cross between Homeworld and FTL, but very much with its own flare. Crying Suns has some great world building despite being a small indie title. I honestly hope we see the studio do more with the world they built as it has a lot to offer. The game itself is enjoyable and long enough to occupy you for a weekend without becoming burdensome. Combat isn't going to blow your mind, but it isn't terrible either. I enjoyed the ground excursions more than the space battles; however, the story is really where it shines. If you don't like reading or story bits, then it isn't the game for you, but if all of this sound interesting to you then it will be well worth your time; double so if a FTL / Homeworld cross sounds appealing to you.
