I didn't play this game at lunch because of the bad reviews mentioning terrible performance and and lots of bugs, but I decided to give it a go after watching Edgerunners, and I can say it is a great game now. It runs really well on my system which isn't the most powrful one out there, and I have experienced very few bugs, nothing gamebreaking. So far I'm absolutely loving it. It is clear that CDPR has put a lot of work and love into getting this game to where it is now, and I can wholeheartly recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs, open world games, and/or the Cyberpunk themes and asthetic.

I'm an original backer of the game, played it a year ago when it launched on Epic Games and it was very rough. It felt like an Alpha version. So I decided to give it one other year and play it on the Steam/GOG launch since very conveniently they promised us all backers that besides the Epic Games key they would also give us a key on another platform of our choice, and I have to say, it was a wise decision. That one year of development was really good for this game. It went from feeling rushed, rough, and unfinished to feel very well polished, more so than most indie games that try to do something so ambitious. Now I can easily recommend it to any XCOM fans out there. It brings a lot of new things to the table, and more importantly, it is very fun to play. At the asking price, it really is a no brainer. This is one of the very few games that managed to remake the XCOM formula the right way in a world where promising attempts like Phantom Doctrine failed miserably, and in many places, it even makes the Firaxis XCOMs feel dated with their chances to hit and archaic way of doing overwatch.

This is without a doubt the best DK spiritual successor I've played with its own spin making it more accessible for a wider market. Basically, it works as a 2 layer RTS, on one layer you manage your dungeon which you have to defend, train units, and it works pretty much like your traditional DK, and then you have a second layer that controls more like a traditional RTS where you send units to the surface for capturing points of interest that give you a resource for building more rooms, research, and units. The implementation feels very polished, and the game is very fun. My only complaint is that the humor and art style feels a bit too childish for my taste, but that's a nitpick.

Imagine if Agent 47 existed in the same universe as Kane and Lynch. That's exactly what this is. An over the top Hitman parody where 47 goes gun blazing everywhere killing 20 guys in seconds after saying a one liner. This game feels more like the Kane and Lynch sequel we never got than a sequel to Blood Money. Interestingly enough Kane and Lynch actually have a cameo in the game making this theory very plausible. With that said, don't play this expecting Hitman since you will get none of that, but as a very cheesy over the top 3rd person shooter that parodies 47 it is very entertaining. Pros: -Best shooting mechanics in the series -Fun cheesy over the top story -Fun grousome over the top deaths Cons: -Not really Hitman -Characters make stupid decisions for plot reasons and are never developed -Stealth is broken making stealth sections boring and tedios

First I must express my surprise of seeing Metal Fatigue on GOG. This was abandoneware as it gets. First, getting a copy of this game was almost impossible, and second, making it run (not run well, just run) was a pain. Now GOG got it and they made the necessary changes to make this game run well on new systems. Just buy it, download, and play. Thank you GOG for preserving gaming history! Now about the game, it was a really fun and ambiciosu RTS. First it had 3D graphics which was pretty much a novelty at the beginning of century, and it didn't age badly. That's something good to say for such an old game. Then gameplay, we have 3 layers of combat, tanks, defense structures, but that's not why you get this game. COMBOTS! That's the real meat of this game. You build pilot crews, and you build combot parts. You pick a leg, a left arm, a right arm, and a torso, and each part has it's own thing. There are katana arms, machin gun arms, rocket lucher arms, shield arms, laser arms, punching arms, and that's just a small selection of the arms. Once you built your own unique combots you attack enemy bases, and you can sometimes retrieve enemy parts for being able to replicate them expanding your inventory of parts. You see a really cool combot with jump jet legs and you are going to want to attack it in the hopes of getting those jump jet legs. This is really fun, and it's a shame no other games has done this so well. Not let's talk gameplay. This game is very simple. Before you start each match you will build your base with a limited amount of resource and an almost-insta-build ability in a limited area of the map. Then when you start you gather energy (game's main resource) from lava pits and solar panels. Lava pits are usually underground and require workes for gathering, and solar panels are more effective in sky platforms. Defending your resources is the only most important thing after attacking the enemy. Like I said this game is really fun, and worth a try for sure.

Didn't know anything about Battletech or Mechwarrior before, but this game hooked me up from the start. It does a good job introducing you to the world, even though some mechanics are not explained properly. If you are fan of TBS games like XCOM, and the sounds of fighting with gigant robots sounds exciting to you, then pick this up. Won't dissapoint you.

After so many years of people requesting 2K to sell this game digitally we finally have it on GOG! I bought this game on the XBOX, and it was one of my favorite ones. The graphics were very impressive at the time, and they managed to create a city that feels very alive through small details like being able to take the train, having to respect transit rules while driving, going to a gas station to refuel the car, etc. The open world feels great, full of small details that make you see how much efforts the developers place into this game. Then we have the story. There is a reason why this is still consider the best Mafia game to date. It is engaging from beginning to end, and that with interesting shooting mechanics made it a master piece of its time. I completely recommend anyone interested in classics to get this game. As a side note, since the song licenses already expired GOG had to remove them from them from the game for being able to sell it digitally. This is a shame, but it was that or just not getting the game at all. There are still some online tutorials, though, for adding the songs back into the game.
