Sorry We're Closed is clearly inspired by Silent Hill, but it manages to find its own strong voice. Everyone who wants to experience something new and yet familiar should buy this game.
If you want to experience something new in survival horror genre REPOSE is for you. It's basically mix of dungeon crawler with puzzle game.
Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is an uniqe experience. Usually when a game is a spiritual successor it is inspired by timeless classic. In this case Seedy Eye Software decided to pick Link: The Faces of Evil for the CD-i as their source of inspiration. Thankfully it is much more polished and fun than this infamous The Legend of Zelda title.
Pretty adventure game with good writing and amazing voice acting. Light on puzzles, but I consider it a plus knowing how horrible this genre can be in that department.

I decided to play it after finishing amazing Old Skies and I do not regret it! Unavowed is focused on strong writing and not on absurd puzzles which makes it a joy to experience.

In terms of gameplay and visuals World of Goo 2 feels more like dlc than proper sequel. However why radically change something that was so good in the first place?
