I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. This Series is Medicine for the soul.
For those with Easycheat problems this game is basically unplayable. Crashing nonstop to the point where I haven't reached the battle map. Have always loved warhammer and I own the first on steam with no trouble. Know your system and avoid if it has difficulties.
One of the best gems I discovered here on GOG. Do yourself a favor and explore the series. They are all great, each with there own way about the West. This one though is special. It really evens out with story, character, and gameplay that will leave you feeling satisfied. In my opinion play this one first as the prequel, number one 2nd taking place 20 years later with one of the main characters. Finally enjoy the 3rd game last or on the side as it's story is independent of the others.
Me and quite a few others online couldn't find a fix for intense crashing issues. I'm using a nice gaming pc with windows 11 to give you an idea. It's to bad, I was looking forward to this one on sale for a while.
The Game on launch was a crime, that is a truth.. No denying it. That out of the way, let me say that even from the start it was ground breaking in its depth and feel. Since the 1.5 patch CD Project Red has made good on it's promise to finish what they have started and their is so much this game is prepped to deliver. I would have vouched for PC users before the update and I expect it only to get better in the next few years.. This game is todays New Vegas, believe..
Played the earlier games and am not surprised at the poor quality this is known for, the pricing on the other hand.. The game seems overpriced if they included the DLC
The GOG Edition does not work for what ever reason. The Original works, but not 2... Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I had really looked forward to the nostalgia, guess I'm left with the first game.
The game is Critically incomplete without the additional Purchase... Notice that the two expansions listed together cost a good deal more then the game itself. I call foul on Paradox and foul on GOG.com for enabling this crime. While a game I mightily enjoyed, The price hardly justifies the features and comparative Value compared to other Paradox titles of the same age. If you do find both on sale I will recommend the purchase, otherwise don't feed the wolf.
