This is a great little game of minion management. There are numerous traps to use to defend your evil volcano lair, and the game will reward you with money for causing chain reactions. The biggest downside is the game is campaign mode only. There's no skirmish modes, no multiplayer, and the company went under just like Bullfrog so a sequel is unlikely. If you loved Dungeon Keeper, this is the game for you.

This is what Fallout was all about: choice. Even to this day I can wander the wastes and find quests I've never seen before. Some people hate Fallout 2 because of the story, but this game is all fun.

If you still have your copy it will run just fine on Vista and XP, but if you weren't fortunate enough to play this years ago you have to buy it now. The only problem with this game is that it can be troublesome to order your units around the way you want.

The best part about Septera Core is the unique setting. It's a very long, but linear game. Unlike many RPGs of its time the game has all of the dialog voice acted. It's a great game the first time through, but the combat system is long and tiresome similar to Final Fantasy.
