Yes this is a great update of the classic and not a reboot. I played Flashback for countless hours when i first got it when i was about 14 or 15, loved every second of the story and anything else you could think off about a game. The graphics are very similar to the other old school gem Another World and for its time Flashback looked stunning and played so fluidly. This version works perfectly with an Xbox One gamepad as i have had zero issues with it since installing, either with playing it or starting the game. This is definitley one classic that deserves every bit of praise it got and is still getting to this day. 9/10 from me.
I remember having this years ago on my atari st it was good then and i enjoyed it a lot. Although as some have said the game engine in it was a little frustrating at times, when people bump into you all the time and the story narrative gets interrupted quite a bit sometimes, but otherwise this is a great adventure game. The developers who made this are revolution who also done the highly acclaimed broken sword series so this is were they started. Great.
What a classic fps very original, you play a sort of good guy/bad guy the quotes in this are as good as duke nukem 3d and makes an excellent companion game. This should be getting a revamp even though this original version is excellent, some of the hit detection in game is a little iffy at times, but this is still worthy of having and is such a laugh to play.
