Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

Incredibly boring level design.

I'm 3 levels in, and every level so far has been limiting. Meaning, if you think that because you have different characters and open space, that you'll have options to how to complete the task? eh, well you'll be disappointed. You get some very cosmetic choices in how you do things sometimes, like do you go up the river and take everyone out slowly this way, or do you take everyone out and slowely work your way across the bridge? Both are basically the same choice, you're not really getting past either without first wiping all of the eyes in the area out. So to that I say, the level design is not fun, and they killed the tentalizing options you thought you might have with the different characters. I've played Hitman Bloodmoney, and Dishonored. The level design there was much better: how so? well you could play in ways the synergised with what you imagined you could do with your powers, but in this game - the moment you try to think of things that don't involve just killing everyone early on - you hit barrariers to that playstyle. After taking a break on and off from this game and still finding issues that just make me feel pigeon holed in a very boring playstyle of "kill the guy that see's this area, but first kill the guy before that because he see's the other guy" i've just lost interest in finishing this game.

Really could use a bit more love

This game is fun if you're good at games with no inherent goals or objectives. Otherwise there doesn't seem to be much to the game, and it stopped getting updates awhile ago. Even for basic things like GOG achievements would be nice to have. It just doesn't take long to figure out how to survive and then there isn't much of a "reason" to keep playing past figuring out how to avoid starving.

Gauntlet™ Slayer Edition

Major drawback.

NO LAN support. This game only supports off-line play as solo, offline play with friends on a couch with controllers, and then online with 1 copy purchased for each GOG.com account. DO NOT get this if you're hoping to have a LAN party. ima try to return this i think, as with the lack of LAN support and the per account restrictions, i feel that this spits in the face of what GOG.com is suppose to be about. I might not though, but I still don't like it. might get it on steam instead.

Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga

Haven't played the game yet

I've played Baulders Gate 3 and thought it was boring crap, not very engaging and I could care less about any of the character that ever showed up. but I got this game because it was on sale, and I haven't played it before but it's got a solid 5 star rating and usually that means it's worth investigating. I'll update as I go (could be awhile) but I gotta say I was blown away with the voice acting, sound, and music. the intro before the character creation was comical, not because they were trying to be funny, but just the graphics. I laughed thinking "back then this crap was probably top notch" I haven't got much further yet, but the story got me interested. I will come back to this game soon

SimCity™ 2000 Special Edition

The second game that started it all

I wasen't big into video games until my childhood friend showed me this, and Red Alert. i was hooked, he had the Nintendo version and later i got the game and i just liked to build. with Red Alert, i was hooked when i beat him in multiplayer, and unkowingest to me i shall be addicted to comptative play. but this game gave me hours of play, i just wish the newer version werent so card heavy.
