It's clearly made by people who enjoy games, for people who play games. The comedy is pure cheese, the story is tongue-in-cheek, and being evil feels so good. I was worried at first when I noticed all the armies combined into one, with the Orcs, Demons, and Undead all together, but that was unfounded. It's just a lot of fun.
For ten years I've been comparing other horror titles against Alien Isolation. It's anxiety inducing sound design, the gripping visuals, and fantastic Xenomorph AI has kept it on top as the scariest game I've personally ever played. With a sequel announced after all this time, it's a great time to jump in and see a cult classic for yourself.
