Yeah, I m writing this in the midst of the Global Corona Crisis - So a postapocalyptic game that has a respiratory uncurable disease in it was a obvious choice to play. Music, Sound, World Builiding, all very promising, the guys from Wadjet Eye normaly deliver solid stuff. Unfortunately, the cool ideas dont get used at all. Puzzles, story, all so incredibly boring if you play adventures in general and read the one or other good sci fi book. A very forseeable ending included. Im giving 3 stars because I liked the world and the sound and music and I dont want to create the impression I m here to bash on the guys. But if you like playing these type of games - just try maybe another one?
Playing the full version now for a couple of weeks. Only playing single player. So first: There is a single player that has a story line. It brings you nice and easy into the game mechanics and ideas. If you like exploring, discovering and building stuff - this game is good for that. Fighting is fun and not to complicated, although it can get challenging later on but in a good way. Graphics are cute but you have to like it. Multiplayer I will try out later...
I completed Shadowrun Returns in under 10 hours of gameplay. For Dragonfall, it took me significantly more time and I surely had more fun. The story, the characters and the gameplay improved a lot and I hope very much, that if there follows another expension, it will get even better! Buy this, if you liked Shadowrun Returns but felt, it was to short and lacked certain features. Dragonfall have them.
