I am a big fan of the original game and the sequel, so my anticipation for the remaster was high. It paid off, as this makes the original game look even better. The new 3D control scheme makes the game much more playable for modern standards (albeit, you'll likely need a controller for that experience because I can only get the original tank controls to work on my keyboard), and the enhanced graphics remain faithful to the original game. The development team behind the port did their work and well, did it very nicely. The fact that Argonaut also included lots of history in regards to the development of the game including interviews from their staff and other informative material through the Crocipedia makes for a title that feels a bit like the Digital Eclipse Gold Master Series, where it's both a game and a documentary, but more of a game this time around. Some people may be turned off by the high price, considering this is just a simple remaster of a PS1/Saturn game with little additions, but for me, this was all I was asking for. If you love the original, then you'll love this remaster.
