It's like they took everything that was good about the second game out and replaced it with a whole bunch of ridiculous ideas that went absolutely nowhere. I thought this site was called GOOD old games. This was never a good game. however its probably on here because of it being nostalgically horrendous.

I remember this. I still have it as a DVD. thankfully i still have the instruction book with all the damn codes you have to put in just to install it. A wonderful RPG experience. The first game to utilize the 3rd edition D&D rules which are far superior to 2nd edition, and more fun to play too. but even though this game uses an all new D&D system it doesn't have the same Role-playing value as Baldur's gate 2. And only for that reason does this game only get 4 stars. It has a multiplayer function that is quite unique. You can actually build your own world and have others play it. But you are only limited by how skilled you are in scripting, modeling and texture creation to how unique of a player experience you will be able to make. the main game itself is fantastic fun, with only the slightest nit picks that can be made, so I will not make them. Get this game.
there is a reason they give this game to you free, cause even GOG knows nobody would actually buy this. You want a good adventure game...play pretty much anything by Roberta Williams. especially in the kings quest series.
Unfortunately my first experience with this game was on a mac. (I hate macs) but this game was one of the few things on a mac i could stand. it is fun. Long action-packed levels, Unique scenery, character and enemy design. even the story is interesting even though not completely serious. it has a very light sense of humor, and it is very satisfyingly gory. and pretty much the only game I know of where you play as a Janitor. get this game if you like a good third person shooter. cause this game is also challenging.
Its quite possibly the greatest RPG title on the market even to this day. if you are an RPG fan, you own this game already, and if you don't Buy it now.
its fun. But its not fallout. it doesn't have the charm that the real games have, and seems like a quickly thrown together game.
This game instantly reminded me of Spore after the first hour of playing it. You go around flying in your ship doing stuff for others. usually retrieval missions. the game has a lack of seriousness that it needs to make the story any fun. you start out so severely underpowered that pretty much anything can kill you. the music is atrocious, sounds like a bunch of stock elevator music. the sound effects are bad, and the interface is confusing. I would not recommend this game. if you want a fun game that has gameplay like this, get master of Orion 2 a more streamlined interface and smoother, more fun gameplay. Don't buy this. It's not worth it.
