Could not run this on Windows 10 (OS up to date and game downloaded July 4th 2020) - hard crash directly. The thing that fixed it for me was to remove 'ddraw.dll' (GOG DirectX 1-7 wrapper) from the installed game folder to make the game load the actual system level dll directly, i.e. C:\Windows\System32\ddraw.dll. I think the system level dll should be installed by any DirectX installer if you don't already have it. On the then first successful run I was also asked to accept to install "Direct Play" (think it's required for the videos). As for the game, graphics probably look a lot worse than i remembered.
