While not a very complicated simulation game (at least until you purchase the Smart Devices DLC), I still found it enjoyable to complete each of the jobs and it never really became that frustrating to play. I would describe it more as a puzzle game, where you need to figure out how to get the lights back on in each level (or changing the circuits to fit the clients needs), then adding an extra challenging of trying to be as efficient as possible.
