It's super janky, the puzzles can be very specific - pretty much standard affair for a 90s point&click adventure. The art could have used more hours. Some of it is obviously upscaled with not enough re-touching. I found myself going back & forth between classic and remastered look (F1 key).
Yeah. Someone told me that I should definitely play SC if I want to try a JRPG. I am never playing another JRPG again. The story is good, and the simple turn based tactics too, but the slow combat and fight repetitions just ruin it for me. Later on people would tell me "yeah, jrpgs are like that". Just not my cup of tea.
