Developers shouldn't compile games with SSE 4.2 only. It leaves half of people with error while just trying to start of the game, and it doesn't do any good for the game (seriously, it's just 4 more CPU commands, that are not required for a modern game, Witcher 3 works without them just fine).

The only problem with original System Shock (IMHO) are controls and UI. This DEMO is great in both of those aspects, as well as it is good looking and has adequate physics. At last in FPS you cannot miss ladder when trying to climb it. Good atmosphere. I will definitely want to play release version of this game.
